Tua ties Joe Montana

no offense to the OP

But this thread is dogshit

This is exactly what’s wrong with posters here

YAY!!! Tua reached a personal milestone throwing 3 yard passes while the team ****ING SUCKS!!!

Yeah. I know some don't want to hear or read it. But ... Miami wins out, Chargers lose 2 more or Broncos lose out ( both possible) Miami still makes the playoffs assuming the Colts lose 1 lol

So there is still a reason we should all hope Tua plays well and is breaking that record

A true problem solver who loves the team.

So sayeth Gryphonk, so it shall be written.

Live look at TuAnon after Tua has 4 turnovers...

Yes! Miami wins out, sounds fun! Make believe is the best believe.

Tua is tied for 1st in Career Passing Completion % . Source

I’m not sure how much it means since nearly every “good” current gen QB in the NFL is somehow near the top of the all time list though… If anything, it seems like Completion % has boomed in record books along with Passing Yards.

For example, Joe Montana is #36 behind the likes of Mitch Trubisky, Daniel Jones, Trevor Lawerence, and Gardner Minshew.

Dan Marino is tied way down at 80th with Jake Delhomme and both are behind Chad Henne.

Our boy Tannehill is tied for 26th with Tom Brady and Steve Young.

What does it all mean… idk 🤷

it means NOTHING. completion pct in the NFL when Joe Montana played was 10pct lower than it is now. totally different game. alot of tua's completions are glorified handoffs too. one more useless goal seeking stat.

When you're not sure the Dolphins winning a SB finally after 50+ years would make you happier after a bad game, you might have a problem.

Is it just a bad game, though? I mean, come on. This team has been mediocre for 20+ years. It's been the same old story with the Dolphins. There has been a ton of hype in the off-season, ups and downs during the season, and fizzling out at the end of the season. Of course, I want us to win a Super Bowl. We all do. However, until we do, if we do, I want us to be at least competitive in December and have a dog in the race year after year. The evidence is in. It's clear that this organization doesn't have what it takes with Grier at the helm and there is no defending it.
