I know, I know...what a block head statement! Even before he first snap is played in the 2012 regular season, and not to mention who'll start at QB?

But what does your gut say at this premature, inactive stage? Can it be possible that we indeed will indeed turn that long awaited corner with these guys?

In truth, I am just way too excited for September to arrive. It's driving me mad...oh patience lesson my anxiety just a bit for everything so far is looking fantastic: the FO look like rock stars, not to mention the early signings, Tanne knowing the play book to the letter, etc., etc.. Oh boy!

I am certainly not underrating my Dolphins even this early in the game...even before the first scrimmages are in the book.

So is your gut feeling the same as mine, or are you a I have to see it before I believe it type of person as most, I would estimate, are. Come on guys your gut feelings must say yes -- they can and they will!!

Well?

I'm concerned that he is taking a long time with his decisions, and while that's not unexpected.... decison making needs to improve before i'd be comfortable with him behind center.

I have the same feeling... I dont think 10-6 would be unrealistic this year...we are going to turn some heads this year!

That depends. If your gut feeling is bowel gas, then YEAH! I got the same gut feeling!

:lol2:

If it is such, I hope that my stool (sp?) splatters all over the gang green fan base.

Reports out of this last OTA was T-hill was holding his own. I take that to mean he is adjusting to the speed of the NFL.

That's a huge plus. Rooks almost always have trouble with the speed of the NFL. With that said, I am sure that his confidence in the offensive scheme has allowed for him to work on other things such as the speed of the pro game. This is my guess -- he has more time to sharpen other parts of his game.

Turned the corner? I don't think we have seen bottom yet...

This team is so lacking in talent on offense it is amazing. On defense we are moving to a new scheme without the needed personnel. We are basically experimenting with safeties at this point. We have no clue about QB. I expect this team to be barely better than last year, but taking coaching out of the equation, the talent is less. The only real improvement we have is we got rid of Columbo...that's it.

Really?? I dont see that.... have you looked at the players taken in the draftt or FA? Have you really looked at last years talent? We arent that far off...

If the OL has improved, and I'm sure it has, we could have one helluva running game. With that being said whoever the QB is should have an easier time of it.

I could see it going either way.

We have a lot of 'if's' on both offense and defense. Sean Smith, Chris Clemons & Reshad Jones are all question marks in the secondary, we'll see how Misi does as a 4-3 OLB. On offense we probably have one of the five least-talented receiving corps in the league, so we'll get to see what Hartline & those boys are really made of. Quarterback is still a huge question mark, Matt Moore will be transitioning yet again to a new offensive system, so it'll be interesting to see how he handles that. Right Guard is an unknown at this point.

We did appear to have a nice draft, and the most immediate impact out of this class is most likely going to be Jonathan Martin replacing Colombo. Egnew, & Miller probably will contribute a little in their respective back-up roles, but when you lose a player of Brandon Marshall's caliber on offense you're certainly not 'more talented' on that side of the ball.

We also have to account for injuries and the fact that we lack depth at almost every position outside of the defensive line & running-back. What happens if Hartline goes down? What happens if Dansby goes down? What happens if Vontae goes down? I wouldn't really want to find out.

All factors considered I think we could be anywhere from 3-13 to 9-7, maybe, MAYBE, 10-6, if a whole lotta **** goes right for us.

If I had to pick though I'd ultimately say 9-7. I have high hopes for the ground game this year.
