Tyreek to the Raiders and trade down from 13 to 22

I would give away Tyreek for nothing. In fact I would give them a third rounder on top of it. Hell, it’s not like we know what to do with those picks.

This would be a nice slap in his face.

Dolphins will be giving up productivity and we get picks which we're not going to to keep because we don't develop players that well, so stay at 13 get an OT that worth his salt and use Tyreek if he's not suspended, going back in the draft for lesser talented players doesn't make since unless pick 13 is a reach.

I think the Raiders will move up for Jeanty if he's around - but I think they may stay at 7.

Re the trade for Reek, fine if they go for it. I see Seattle as a possibility too.

Pittsburgh move up for a QB at 13?
pittsburgh doesn have a second rounder. Thats the only problem with that. I was thinking that too.

Besides Waddle, what high asset did we use on WR lately?
Hill, cost us 2022 1st, 2022 2nd, 2022 4th, 2023 4th, and 2023 6th is alot of draft capital to give up...as well as losing a 2023 1st and 2024 3rd because our owner tampered and didn't sign who he tampered for...ugh!! That's a ton of capital for what we got ROI.

I would take anything for him at this point. He's likley to miss a few games with the recent visit from the police. He's over 30 and his contract is a monster. Not to mention he's a disturbance.

If anyone wants that contract, you just take a 7th rounder and a stick of gum.

Don’t see why a GM and HC who want to keep their job would trade Hill. It doesn’t improve the team; it creates another massive whole in the roster we don’t have the ability to fill prior to the season.

Now trading down in the 1st makes sense. I imagine it will be for WAY less value than many project simply because the talent at 13 is not elite. Something like Pittsburgh’s picks (21 and 83) is realistic (mentioned in an above post).

IMO you can’t draft to replace players you trade if the talent/value isn’t there when you are on the clock. Taking Egbuka in the scenario described would be absolutely terrible. Grant, Harmon, Nolen or even Barron will be there at 22. Drafting an OK WR prospect in a weak class just to fill a gap in the roster is not the move to make.

The Raiders have the cap space to absorb Tyreek's contract, over $42M. Being that they are in Las Vegas they are a team that would like to make a splash. They are also starved for WR talent.

Lets say we get a 3rd. Its a high 3rd, pick number 68. Thats probably the highest pick we could realistically get at this point.

Trade down with the Chargers for picks 22 55 and 125, we give back pick 253. That gives us 5 picks in the first 98 picks. Lets hope somebody is available who they want to trade up for.

22. WR Emeka Ogbuka - Smooth route runner who is a better complement to Waddle than Matthew Golden, who would be redundant to Waddle and might also be unavailable. I heard the Packers are targeting him at 23 which makes sense since they don't have a number 1 WR and Watson will miss most or all of next season.

48. DT Darius Alexander - Athletic DT who replaces Campbell.

55. OG Jonah Savaiinaea - He should be a plug and play OG.

68. DT Alfred Collins - He rivals Grant for the best run stuffing DT in the draft. Alexander and Collins should solve our DL needs.

98. S Billy Bowman - He would probably start over Davis at FS.

116. DB Quincy Riley - I think he is better than Duck and Smith.

125. WR/TE Oronde Gadsden ll - Add another weapon for our offense.

135. LB Danny Stutsman - I think he could be a steal here.

150. DB Nohl Williams - I would double up on DB's.

155. OT Jalen Travis - After Armstead's retirement we need a backup swing OT.

224. DE Fadil Diggs - Athletic and productive edge rushing depth.

231. RB Raheim Sanders - Power RB 6'0 217, ran a 4.46 at the combine.
I like the scenarios except waiting until 55 to take OL. OLine is and has been for years our weakest unit, save '23. WE need a durable, long-time starter Day One on that OLIne and there are some guys available earlier in the draft. Some will say you can pick up a great OLIneman later in the draft. True, but Mr. Grier's history on that is not very good.

Yeah am aware of Reek but assumed he meant drafting one like Waddle.

great draft, gimme one more DT after pick 150 and one more OL before 150 and its an A+
Bowman and Stutsman are really good players and Rocket Sanders would be another weapon for the O
