Tyreek to the Raiders and trade down from 13 to 22

Yeah am aware of Reek but assumed he meant drafting one like Waddle.

We traded the 15th pick in 2022 to move up for Waddle too, which the Eagles flipped into more trading to the Texans, so Waddle net cost two 1st round picks.

Traded almost an entire draft for Tyreek.

Spent a 4th rounder on Ezukanma in 2022 too.

That’s all within the last 4 drafts 😂

I like the scenarios except waiting until 55 to take OL. OLine is and has been for years our weakest unit, save '23. WE need a durable, long-time starter Day One on that OLIne and there are some guys available earlier in the draft. Some will say you can pick up a great OLIneman later in the draft. True, but Mr. Grier's history on that is not very good.
Good points, I'm nervous we can get one at 48. Not high on Millum and the late second round guys, Jonah S, I think can play but he might be part of that OL run at the top of the second

Well we drafted Malik last year too. I don't see us investing anything before 150 on a wideout this year. But who knows for sure at this point.

Grier passed on better WR talent in the draft to draft lesser WR talent and traded basically a full draft for an older WR, who we got 2 great years from but now might be in decline and is a head case who brings drama.

We could have had Jefferson instead of Jackson

We could have had Higgins instead of Iggy.

We could have had Chase instead of Waddle and Hill.

We could have also had Doubs instead of Ezukanma who has been a complete bust.

Grier can't be trusted to make good draft decisions.

Ya never know with McD. Flores was chided for not investing in RBs and McD has gone opposite direction.

Some people think we’ll pick another RB in mid rounds again after already drafting Achane and trading a 3rd this draft for a 4th last year for Wright. 🤷

Yeah I could see a late round pounder at RB but we have Mattison so who knows. UDFA a possibility I suppose.

I think thats way to High for Emeka so I would pass on him there.

Anyone who passes on Jeanty after Abdul carter and Cam ward is making a mistake imo

I’ve thought about this pretty hard, he’s built like Ricky but I believe he will be better. The most impressive physique relative to the position I’ve ever seen

I've said on a few occasions that I do not think we'll ever see another RB like Barry Sanders. But man...Jeanty sure as heck reminds me of him at times.

Raiders or Cowboys are probably the only teams dumb enough to trade for Hill. At this point, Miami is probably stuck with him.

The fact that no charges were filed against Hill, helps the Dolphins save face a little bit.

But Hill is gone after the 2025 season. Perhaps that means Grier will draft a wide receiver or tight end earlier than expected. Maybe Warren is in play if he drops to 13?

I doubt the Warren thing. Higher needs IMO. Might draft someone later round to be the "blocker". Anyways he will be gone by 13.

I look at our approach to FA for possible clues. Still big holes in OL, DL and DB that will be filled first.

theyre different in their skillset, but I agree with you. I just have never see genetics that perfect for the position, and then when you combine it all, hands, pass blocking technique, vision, power speed. He's the most complete, Explosive instinctive runner I think I've ever seen, maybe since walter Payton.

I would build an offense around that dude so fast it wouln't be funny.

I have him, abdul and ward as equal talent wise, I have questions about Travis hunter.

I think there is a lot of value in eliminating as much risk as possible by choosing a player who has a high floor with bonus ceiling, Warren is that player.

one only has to look at draft history to know getting it right in the first round in the long run is the way to go imo.

Combine that with how much Miami has spent on Edge players the last 4 years?

Chubb/ Chop/Phillips

Between WR AND Edge, Miami could have actually fielded a complete offense or defense of 1st rounders lol.

Almost, to the literal police. Not quite 11 firsts

I'm telling you, if Miami was willing to truly cut their losses, not expect a straight up pick, they could really use Hill on draft day.

Even fans, if they get "draft compensation" out of their minds and think differently.

For instance 48 + Hill for 37
Or
98 + Hill for 68.
115 and 224+ Hill for 68

If Hill could be packaged to get a Nolen/ Grant/Watts or dare I say a board favorite Zabel at 37
Or
Mukuba/Collins or Ratledge at 68......

Then that is a great day. It doesn't have to be a straight pick.

I would lump Mason Graham in there. Otherwise we're in agreement.

you know I havn't looked at Graham, how close is he to aaron donald coming out, cause if he's not on that level I would take Jeanty.
