Tell me about it!Your butt is a target.
Maybe Gesicki for Robinson and a 1st round pick.Urban said during the draft that he was in contact with other team(s) about acquiring a TE. They did not draft a TE until much later even though it was tied with QB with being their biggest need. Then, we draft a TE. I thought strongly at the time that there might be a Gesicki for Robinson trade, as both players were excellent fits for the other teams. It didn't happen, but who knows.
Don't know the details. I was just thinking both players would be involved.Maybe Gesicki for Robinson and a 1st round pick.
I love Robinson, but there's 10 Robinsons for every Mike Gesicki.
And not that etienne isn't going to be a good player! You can mark me down with an Etienne was the worst pick of the first round vote... just a horrible use of resources for an awful team.
...and I thought it would be Leatherwood to the Raiders.
I disagree. Etienne is a stud. Robinson had a great rookie year, but Etienne is the better talent. You can mark me down with an Etienne was the worst pick of the first round vote... just a horrible use of resources for an awful team.

Not at all... he reminds me of Kamara. It's just that by the time the Jags are ready to compete, he'll be ready to ask for the moon, or move on.And not that etienne isn't going to be a good player!
He is... but my commentary said, horrible use of resources... not 'bad player'.I disagree. Etienne is a stud. Robinson had a great rookie year, but Etienne is the better talent.

I can see your point as far as adding the horse before the cart is built. But in the mean time we agree they have a damn good horse. Not at all... he reminds me of Kamara. It's just that by the time the Jags are ready to compete, he'll be ready to ask for the moon, or move on.
You take your RB last, not first.
i think most people will agree that Etienne is a very good running back but when you have robinson why waste a 1st on a running back when you could get better value for the pickI can see your point as far as adding the horse before the cart is built. I also like the Jags young wrs Chark, Jones and Shenault. Marvin Jones isn't young, but still has a little left in the tank. They could be be a fun team to watch down the line. Right now I still see a gap between them and the Texans, Titans and Colts. Of course the Texans are one qb trade away from tearing it all down and starting over.
I would say from a stand point that Etienne should and/could be a much better back than Robinson, despite the fact Roinson had a good rookie season. I get the argument from the stance of what's the point of starting the clock ticking on a new high investment rb when the team is still in the building stage. It's like buying a new expensive flat screen tv for your media room today even though you know the house won't be ready for you to move in untill 2023. By the time you move in that tv is going to be over shadowed by all the new next great tvs on the market.i think most people will agree that Etienne is a very good running back but when you have robinson why waste a 1st on a running back when you could get better value for the pick

Off topic, Ray, but if I haven't told you before, I dig your avatar. My family used to raise basenjis before the virus hit that wiped out such a big part of the breed in the 1970s.
