Id rather Allen play the boundary. I know he isnt the Will Allen from a few years ago, but he has done it before and knows whats up. I have more confidence with him out there unless he is more shot than they are letting on. The Browns arent gonna be running a helluva lot of 3 wide sets I dont think so Nate wont have to see much run anyway...or you can move Will Allen into the slot the couple times he has to and let Carroll take the outside then...hopefully it wont be much like I say.
We Smith said "I know the perception of him is not that good," Smith said. "When you watch TV and see him chasing (a receiver) it looks like it's his guy. But nobody knows what's really going on, or knows the (defensive) schemes. Is Smith talking about fans no knowing what's really going our the players. I can't tell from watching tha game.
Nate Jones was very good in the nickle back in 2009 when he played for us.
2 int's 10 passes def. 2 forced fumbles
I was sad to see him signed by Denver.
So he's played with YB , Davis & Smith (rookie year) and Will Allen
I think he'll fit right in
Good pickup
You seriously want Jones in the slot?!I'd play Allen there with Jones and Wilson in the slot. Carroll just plain can not play.

attack for once
I couldn't agree more. Screw it. Blitz 'em, run some bump and cover and if we get beat deep that way so be it. I'm sick of seeing 5 seconds + in the pocket and then a wide open receiver with our DB's chasing. That Welker pass was embarrassing, but I bet that wouldn't happen most of the time.
It wouldn't.... you're not going to see teams spread the field with 4 WR's from inside their own 1 yard line most of the time.... but Tom Brady will.
so why blitz them if you know its coming? why not show the blitz than back off?
