Uhh weather will be an issue Sunday

Lake effect snow is normally heavy. If temps are 33 you are going to see probably rain, snow, sleet and it will be a mess. Who cares. Time for Tannehill to take leadership of this team and prove all doubters wrong. He showed what he can do last week but he has 2 more games minimum to make believers out of any doubter.

Ok how bout a minimum of a foot of snow. Does that help?

No. We need to know if the snow would cover up our beer. If yes, then we understand we have a problem. If no, then you need to compare it to steak thickness. Dont hesitate to mention steaks stacked upon each other, we have experience with that.

People don't want to hear this but during the second quarter, when snow was at its worst, tannehill was vastly inaccurate

I feel like I can say this now: If it's close, we will win. We beat down one rookie QB, we can beat down another. Coyle will make this kid's head spin. I was Debbie Downer in my Caleb Sturgis thread but I just watched NFL Rewind of the Phins game and I'm pumped again.
I think our D will have an answer and our QB is swinging a mighty pair of stones these days.

It's interesting that Thigpen stole Vereen's thunder on that TD. We have a lot of weapons on O and Sherman is finding his groove with these guys.

What's a centimeter? We uses inches. Silly non american way of doing things. Just in case anyone cares, 2.54 Centimeters is one inch. I heard that too many times doing dumb conversions in physics and god knows what else.

40 cm is a lot of ****ing snow.

The Forecast could be a lot different come Sunday.

Weather underground says this "Rain showers in the morning becoming a steady light rain in the afternoon. High around 40F. Winds SW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 70%." http://www.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/findweather/getForecast?query=14127

According to Accuweather they are calling for 47 hi/24 lo with "a wintery mix changing to rain" http://www.accuweather.com/en/us/orchard-park-ny/14127/daily-weather-forecast/5492_pc?day=6

Weather.com says 36 hi/ 19 lo With a 60% chance of Rain. Winds up to 11Mph http://www.weather.com/weather/weekend/Orchard+Park+NY+14127:4:US

In Intellicast says 36 hi/ 19 lo with showers http://www.intellicast.com/Local/Weather.aspx?location=USNY1071

Not too bad for late December in Buffalo. Hopefully the forecast doesn't change too much between now and then.

The US embraced the (British) imperial measurement system and called them US measures, but the rest of the world progressively converted to a standard measurement system for temperatures, lengths, volumes, weights, etc - the metric system. Even the British ultimately went metric. Every other nation uses metric measures and has no problems, some would think that not so silly. The Jimmy Carter administration ultimately made the decision for the US to go metric and join the rest of the world, but this was ultimately scrapped and considered too difficult (and expensive). This reminds me of the loving mother watching her son marching with his unit and the mother remarks that everyone is out of step except Johnny.
You are right, the Buffalo snow should be measured in inches because the Bills still play in the US and haven't been shipped off to Canada (yet), although why is every competitive swimming event and pool measured in meters? That seems pretty silly.

But at least we score. We're 11th in the league at 7.9 PPG in the second quarter. 8th in the league in the 3rd. Hope we keep that going regardless of weather.

Hey, our most PPG this season was in snow.

It's snowed at 33 degrees before. It won't stick much if it's 33 though.
Depends on how long the ground has been close to freezing and how heavy the downfall is. I live in Atlanta and in '94 it had been between 30 and 35 degrees for several days. That set up a 9 inch dump on Atlanta that stuck immediately at from 34 to 36 degrees. Around here we call it the 'Blizzard of '94', lol. Atlanta metro was paralyzed for several days. So, it's possible.

That was rough. I remember in the 70's they were trying to shove that metrics crap on us. We won!

I remember the blizzard of 94, but I was in the mountains of NC and we got about 3 feet.

do they really think people want to see that in metrics?

I mean, they might as well say "we will 35.5 /2.54 inches of snow, and if you want to know what that amounts to in whole numbers, you can flip the channel...."

Can we put this bull**** to rest now? The Dolphins have played in some of the coldest games in NFL history and WON!

We handled business in Pittsburgh this season. Buffalo is going to be nothing. Temperatures will be back to seasonal which hover around the freezing mark. Which isn't cold by Buffalo standards.

The Dolphins will be ready. Besides, a majority of the players grew up in snow.
