u say we cant fill all the positions with six picks and yeah i know that but u dont have to go out and pick d lineman when we have alot of really good players at those spots.

cubanphinphan- at first i was going to take it easy on you, because you're a little misguided and only 15... but to say matt roth is a wasted pick is complete and utter stupidity. plain and simple. honestly, look in the mirror and say: i am a teenager with little football knowledge; our coach has been in the business forever, and he picked a player who we have already addressed the position, so he's wrong and i'm right and we wasted a pick??
secondly, our d-line is good, but lets truthfully analyze, bowens are chester are both coming off major injuries and these are d-lineman and not youngins.. so we dont know if they'll ever be as effective. on that same note, Roth isn't a d-lineman exclusively, he'll play OLB in a 3-4 set.
as for other positions, with 6 picks and a 4-12 record last year, how can you expect us to get it all done in one year?

overall I am pretty happy, but I wish we din't go DE with the second pick. We already have taylor holliday and carter. I know they are all pretty old, but we are set for two maybe three years at that position when there are positions we NEED to upgrade now. I wish we would have got howthorne with our fifth round pick instead of getting a DT in the seventh. We have three old injury prone guys at DT.
