Vegas puts Dolphins over/under win total at 7.5

There's a much better chance Miami wins the next 5 SBs than tebow getting 20 snaps under C(or in shotgun) in a game this year unlesss Sanchez is hurt.
With the first 5 games you have, Sanchez may not make it to game 3. Sanchez is under a huge amount of pressure as is Rex.

Did you happen to catch Peter Kings breakdown about Giants and Jets coverage in the NY papers this weekend? The SB winning Giants had 2700 plus words written about them. Tim Tebow had 3 times that much written about him. The NY media will be all over Sanchez vs Tebow at the slightest opportunity Sanchez gives them.

The jets are always under a microscope under rex, Sanchez and the team didn't fail b/c of the mdia spotlight last year.

The early sched isn't as difficult as it appears, we assume SF will be as good as last year- we'll see, we asume Houston will be as good as last year- we'll see. We have dominated Buffalo lately and all 3 of these games are at home, the road games are at Pitt(likely loss) and at Miami(we should win that one). At the absolute worst we'll be 3-2 after and Sanchez will be totally secure- tebow is not taking his job.

Pitt, SF and Miami are certain losses and you are fooling yourself if you think the pressure on Sanchez has not been ratcheted up.

He's played his best under pressure.

Miami a certain loss

And you assume the Jets will be better then they were last year. It should be assumed S.F. and Houston will be as good as they were last year. The only way to know they won't is to see it happening after the fact.

I don't know about the game in Miami being a "certain loss" but it shouldn't be dismissed by Mr. Jet himself either.

The Phins have won 5 of the last 7. I expect a split this year.

Sanchez has also played his worst under pressure.

I think a split is fair to expect but why is the game in Miami a certain loss? I don't think homefield means too much in a series like this.

It isn't a certain loss. I'm with you on that one, I don't know why it's assumed the Dolphins are going to outright win it. They certainly can but 'certain' isn't why.

You stated the Jets should win. I said its a certain Miami victory. Are you really going to debate something as ridiculous as an emphasis to your assumption? Nice job deflecting the meat of my post about Tebow vs Sanchez. Tells me you see the writing on the wall as well. Of course I wouldn't expect you to admit it.

what did I deflect? It's asinine to think tebow will be starting w/o Sanchez getting hurt early in the season. Why on earth would any team planning on starting Tebow put him as the up back on punts? Take a step back, stop reading all the sensationalist articles and headlines and actually look at the situation logically.

Logic dictates that as soon as Sanchez stumbles, Tebowites and the media will be screaming for him to be benched. Face it my friend, Sanchez is an average game manager and is nowhere near the leader Tebow is.

And I hate the whole "cupcake schedule" argument too. In the NFL these days, teams go from first to worst and vice versa all the time. To project that the schedule will be easy at this point is way premature. You really don't know who's who in the NFL until at least week 3-4.
The best part is, while homers look at our "easy" schedule and predict win after win, fans of those other teams look at us on the schedule, laugh, and check off a win too. I mean, the Browns are maybe the worst team in the league since coming back in 1999(I realize we dont play them this year, just making a point), can anyone remember the last time we beat them?

It's been a while (2004). They've beaten the Dolphins the last four times they've played, including 2010 and 2011. Still doesn't stop the homer brigade from concluding that the Dolphins are far superior.

The changes on defense aren't as drastic as some think. They used the 4 man front quite a bit last year
