Whose to say Martin didn't make jokes in the locker room about other people. You Should be interested to see if Martin threw any stones before you rush to judgement on this situation.

What I'm saying doesn't just apply to this case, it applies in general - just like in every other workplace - the teams should not allow this type of language and environment. This isn't say to go easy on anyone - I'm saying demand more of these men. Act like adults, not juvenile delinquents.

My friends and I say mean nasty things to each other on a daily basis as long as women and children are not around. This is playful banter.. Which if recorded and played back through the media would sound horrendous.

You wouldn't be allowed to use this language in any other workplace, nor should you. Just because you play football for a living should excuse you from behaving like a real man.

The "real man" part is not about advocating hazing. It's about making it crystal clear what is acceptable behavior and what is not. By ALL locker room accounts no one was aware that Jon Martin felt bullied. He himself even replayed the voicemails for various teammates and laughed and joked about them. A real man wouldn't laugh and joke about something that he felt so strongly against.

Let's talk about this workplace thing. So when Mario Williams says he's going to rip off Martins head and **** down his throat is that considered to be a bullying issue? I mean doesn't that impact Martin to the point that he can't effectively perform his job function? Could he sue Mario Williams for mental anguish from this type of bullying?

Can any player that ever had harsh words said to them by a player or coach now get paid?

My point here is the NFL is a totally different work place from all others.

Martin supporters wait for it....Silver calls the next revelation from the incognito camp to be mutually explosive

If Martin spoke in the same manner then that will end this witch hunt. Martin will be forever known as a hypocritical back stabbing piece of garbage.

If this is true Martins emotional roller coaster just went into over drive. Dude will definitely need to be put on watch at the asylum.

I'm sensing the Dolphins organization is going to be scapegoated for a leaguewide problem, that the PC public has a problem with. Just like the Saints were.

And Goodell's sniveling PR obsessing ass will give the public what it wants, the Dolphins on a platter.

This is unfortunate, and completely unfair. But the longer this goes on the more I see the writing on the wall.

Jonathan Martin or his family, whoever is pushing this thing, is what is wrong with our country as a whole.

Where people feel like they're soooo special, that their individual problems must not be their fault but rather a systemic failure. They're the dumb woman who spilled coffee on her lap and sued McDonalds because she got burned, and since the cup wasn't labled hot she got paid. I'm losing my faith in this country by the day.

Few things though....

1. The Saints were trying to hurt players, what happened with the Dolphins was more hurt feelings.

2. The Saints were given a warning before they were punished for continuing.

3. The story is not so cut and dry as with what happened with the Saints, Richie and Jon seem to have a friendly relationship, yet Jon was being bullied?

4. What happened in the Dolphin locker-room, happens (more or less) in all other locker-rooms, to not believe it would be extreme ignorance.

5. Is really just a coincidence that a 3 weeks ago Jon is fine, then is moved to the right side (which he was grumbling about) and suddenly a week later is after talking to his Harvard Lawyer Parents, he goes missing.

The Media can cover it one sided, and can expect that the Dolphins organization will be penalized all they want, if the NFL does anything to the organization because of this, they will look like hypocrites, and an investigation will probably have to be made against the NFL and the bias that is seems to be showing against the Dolphins.

Couldn't trash talk between two opponents be construed as bullying as they are both members of the same union?

If this is true, then does the union turn a blind eye to on-field bullying?

Might wanna take 'Fight Club' outta the DVD player every now and then... Just What are you afraid of???? All of this... All of it... Just reeks of fear... Who is threatening your way of life exactly??? Why are you feeling so oppressed... Under attack??? Is it Oprah???? It's gotta be Oprah...

My way of life isn't threatened at all. Just my love for football and the neuter of the male in todays society. I wouldn't expect you and others to understand. As I do know your political leanings. And Perez Hilton is probably one of your biggest fans.

As a hispanic male, I am oppressed by the 'enlightened' male who thinks they know whats best for me. All for the better good. The collective.

Why can't people (media) listen to the other players (especially RT) when they all state nothing was going on in the locker room, the same things that happened to Martin happened to others including RT himself? Why do we have to make up stuff when they weren't there? This whole thing is a joke. Martin needs some help and is not built for the life of a NFL player. This is no different then the NFL players who can't handle the fame and money and are broke 2 years after they are done. Martin can't handle the everyday going ons in the NFL, boo hoo.

Yes you are. Demanding men act professional and not like illiterate criminals is not 'neutering them' it is demanding they actually start behaving like men and not boys.

Don't blame DDubz. He's just one of the many sheep that hang on every word of the ever flaccid and ever corpulent Rush Limbaugh.

All I have to say is "if you like your insurance policy you can keep it. I promise you that."

Millions liked their insurance policy and got a cancellation letter. Now that's what you call an out right lie to get votes. If that's who you support you belong with the Martins.

Thanks for nothing scum bag president.

Don't blame DDubz. He's just one of the many sheep that hang on every word of the ever flaccid and ever corpulent Rush Limbaugh.

Actually, Rush has kept his comments on this to a very minimum. The sheep here are the one's being blasted with the same catch phrase on every channel from CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, MSNBC, FOX and ESPN. That is group thought. Group thought is pushing this, for the collective. The sheep are the one's, like you, who are so worried about peoples feelings, logic be damned.

The collective is group thought. Its something that is promoted by your talking heads at MSNBC and ESPN. Its the catch phrase 'bullying'. Out of all those new channels and reports, don't you think all those enlightened folks who aren't ditto heads, could at least come up with different catch phrases? The media montages' used by Rush, show that when the MSM get going, they ALL READ FROM THE SAME PAGE. ALL of them. Fox to a lesser extent. But they still do it.

There is a reason some of us here don't get along. And as someone who doesn't believe in the collective, as you do. We won't mix. But your own bias limits your own reasoning. Where are you getting different thought on this subject outside of FH? Yahoo? HUFFPost? The NAtion? Any news channel? You bobble heads are the collective, who champion collective thought for the greater good.

I've stated this before, but I keep going back to my time in the military and specifically, basic training in the Army. If my drill instructors would have gotten a hold of Jon Martin, man, he would have been in the fetus position crying in a corner by the end of day one. The stuff those guys would say to 18 yr old recruits was insane thinking back on it. I know the NFL is not exactly the same thing, but if 18 yr old kids can survive basic training, I believe that someone much older (and bigger) could figure out a way to get through guys calling him and his family names.
