Jerry Jones is a football guy, you can't really compare him to owners like Ross. Jerry played college football and won a national championship. He's been around football his whole life and has been immersed in the presence of some of the greatest coaches that have ever lived. Understands the game on an entirely different level than the owners the Dolphins have had in the past 25 years. Different level of passion for the game and his team.

yeah I'm not expecting to be able to trade tannehill thanks to his contract but he'll be cut at some point imo

By next offseason Jones, McDonald and Harris will all be gone, as well. If Kiko somehow survives the 2019 cap purge, he'll be shown the door too. Can't cut everyone this year. But by 2020, the stench will have finally ended. Time to extend Tunsil and Howard!!!
if we cut Jones after the 2019 season we'll take a dead money hit of over 8mill but that's better than the 23mill hit we'd take this year

I believe that's pre June but post June is showing about the same
