but he has those legs... i dont know why people want to diss vick all the time... he does what he does, he doesn't hype himself up, hes not an egomaniac and ****, he goes out and makes plays... whether with his feet or with his arm... and he wins games... isn't that all that matters?

Last I checked, it is all that matters.

I'd be willing to bet that over half the people burning him at the stake over his QB skills, pray every Sunday he gets injured.

Agreed, as long as he wins games I would take him. I watched the game, one of those INT's wasn't his fault, well, he threw a bullet and it bounced off of Alge's hands. He also fumbled once on a scrable that was recovered by his RT. But those are the things you live with. I would take him in a heartbeat.

he only thinks he's the best player in football...and the best quarterback. vick isn't even the best athlete in football. it will only be a matter of time before defensive coordinators completely marginalize him into a mere nothing. vick is garbage and always will be. my thread was meant to be complete sarcasm.

pray? i don't pray for anyone but tom brady to get hurt, but its sure fun to watch him down. face it vick-lovers, he's nothing more than a wr/rb hybrid with a cannon arm that thinks he can pass.
 
Um...Vick went 11/26 0 TD 3 INT and had 18 yards rushing at 2.0 YPC with 2 touchdowns from the 1 yard line both set up by Warrick Dunn

bingo. dunn is 3rd in the NFL in rushing, and has a 5.4 average, better than anyone in the top 10 in yards

funny that people say vick "wins" games, but how many game winning drives has he orchestrated? when the falcons have a big lead, are they running vick, or relying on him to make 1st downs? no, they give the ball to dunn and duckett and rely on THEM to close the games. vick is extremely overrated

if the entire defense wasnt worried about Vick there wouldnt be those 12 yard holes to run through that hes getting.

The NFC was weak last year, Atlanta still has no shot of going to Philly and beating the Eagles.
 
every time i come in this part of the forum i have to laugh... there is ALWAYS someone hating on vick!!! how many times did his "receivers" (and i use that term loosely) drop the ball or knock it up in the air? how many times was he forced out of the pocket because his line cant pass block to save their souls? the guy has the strongest arm in the nfl AND he can make plays on every down. someone said early how teams have to gameplan against him, and they were absolutely right!!! i can run through the holes the d-line leaves when they try to contain vick. even if you discount all his physical attributes, the guy plain wins games.....
