Video: New Dolphins lineman Shelley Smith: I’m fine on left or right side

Alberts blocking produced 5.7 yards per attempt for all KC's rushes. It's FH BS that leads people to believe he can't run block when actually he's been quite productive in his career at run blocking and his ability to get 2nd level run blocking in as well. We got the best LT available who excels at pass blocking but is also very good in the run game no matter what any FH blogger wants to think or spout. He's all pro for a reason dude!

CULLEN: you have just broken the most sacred of FH rules and that is using FACT in a post.

its not welcome here and stirs up the harmonious vibe of the disillusioned. WHAT WERE YOU THINKING? [i know, i have been there. expect HARSH retaliation].

were kind of an underground group. i will share the secret code for the REALIST UNDERGROUND RESISTANCE at a later, safer time.

hang in there, you have friends. excellent collection of fact based information on albert.

:)

Smith is the exact kind of player missing from the team last year

LDANIEL: i am big on smith and think we have one of our guards set.

i also like fox a lot. i didnt know much about fox and the last couple days i have been researching him. i thought he was just a shmoe who probably was perma pine in carolina and got the rt job due to an injury on the line, suspension, etc... . WRONG! he won the job straight away in carolinas camp and that is a good thing. he will bring the battle here and i see him starting day one!! he has a nasty attitude and from the recent videos from finz land, he is hard at work already in the weight room and over all fitness.

i think we are down a guard and we will start looking around pic #4. i am one of the VERY FEW who do not think we are going ol NO MATTER WHO IS THERE in the first three rounds.

secondary, LB, offensive play maker will be the focus.

Agree with Smith, only if he learns how to pass protect better. As far as Fox....if he can stay healthy (something that he hasn't accomplished) he could be a good RT. The problem arrives when he gets hurt. If we wait till the end of the draft to pick a replacement RT, that individual probably may/will not be ready to fill in right away.

From what I've seen, "Fact" does not always mean what you think it means. This post not included.

You cant trust FOX to stay healthy. I think draft needs to find a RT that can start. Good starting OGs still available in FA if we need one. I think there will be an OT drafted in the first 2 rounds.

i like smith and I liked the signing but before he gets a starting job anywhere he needs to prove his pass pro has got a lot better

Who knows with Smith , he wasnt good enough to secure a starting spot up to this point in his career but maybe he will breakout and improve. I just wish we had signed guys that have been actual starters in the nfl for a full season. too much roilling dice with unproven guys

Actually, I thought that he answered every question well. Came across as honest and eager to help. He may not have studied Classics at Stanford and have a prominent corporate attorney as a Mom, but if Shelley Smith can protect Tannehill, that's what we need.

And he managed to get through that entire interview without describing to the camera man things he'd like to do to his sister. So win-win!

With Fox's injury history, he really needs to be "next man up" on the roster at RT. That way he can step in spot duty and do a credible job, yet be saved from the wear and tear (and almost certain injury) of starting a full season.

Counting on Fox to start is a no-no for a good GM. It would be akin to Ireland blithely assuming the Martin could play LT as a starter. IF a player has proven over the course of their career that they a. cannot stay healthy, or b. simply cannot compete with decent talent (Martin), the last thing you do is pencil them in as starter going into a season.

You work your butt off to bring in talent above that person. And then let them shine as a backup, when called upon.
