With 200 rushing yards in the Rose Bowl, QB Vince Young has 1,050 this season, becoming the first player in NCAA history to rush for more than 1,000 yards and pass for more than 3,000 in the same season. Young completed his first nine passes of the game, and the last six of the Big 12 Championship game, giving him 15 consecutive, setting a new UT record. Young owned the previous mark of 14 as well. Young has totaled at least 250 yards of total offense in 10 of 13 games this season. Young becomes the first player in NCAA history to rush and pass for at least 200 yards in two games and also became the third player in UT history to pass for 3,000 yards in a single season with a total of 3,045 -- the third-highest single-season total in UT history. He is now 30-2 as a starter. His .938 winning percentage is the sixth-best in NCAA history.
