can anyone tell me why this trade can't be pulled off?

Volek has played very well in his opportunities and Fisher recently said there is no way they will let him go.

Potential or not, most teams aren't going to give up a guy who they've groomed and they know plays well in their system for someone who struggled as much as AJ did last year.
 
ya know, we do have the most yds passing in the nfl the last time i looked although its just preseason.
 
I believe we could have gotten him had we wanted him. To be honest with you, before we traded for Feeley I wanted us to go after Mike McMahon. I thought he could have been a decent QB but what do I know?
 
I would trade Feeley for Volek any day...I am watching Seattle and Dallas on Monday Night Football...Seneca Wallace, the Seahawks backup looks pretty good....damn, I wish we had a QB,,,,,I sure miss Dan. :(
