I believe it would be based on current market value. At the moment, I would think that Volek has more trade value than Feeley based on what each has accomplished when they've had their chances.

That's purely your opinion. You still haven't provided any proof that Volek could have had success in OUR offense last season.
BTW, if Volek's agent makes a stink and he insists on a trade and Volek becomes a distraction in order to force a trade, then it could happen.
My understanding is that Volek wants a chance to start and is not content sitting behind McNair.

How about the Titans will never give him up ?? Even tho McNair is an ironman as NFL players go, father time is catching up with him...

The Titans won't let him go...besides that, Volek took less money when he was a FA to stay in Tenn...so give up the pipe dream...

maybe not but to rid yourself of feeley and have volek in his place competing with frerotte ... i, for one, would feel better about our QB situation.

I'd feel better if we traded Feeley for Peyton Manning, he's a lot better than Volek. Before we waste time talking with Tennessee, let's ask Indy if they're interested in a Feeley deal.

While we're at it, I'd feel a lot better about our offensive line if we traded McKinney for Kevin Mawae and St. Clair for Jonathan Ogden. We should look into those trades too (as long as New York and Baltimore we're willing to make up for the salary differences of course).
