I see alot of interesting threads today, but I notice someone doesn't seem to be getting called out.
We have heard by many how Vontae is as good as Revis or his ceiling is higher, or he has the potential to be as good as Revis one day.
I have been hearing, by many, disagree with myself and others that Smith is actually the better corner.
So, with such a horrible game last night, why is Vontae Davis not being mentioned on this board? Correct me if I am wrong, he got abused last night, and on atleast 2 of those long pass plays I saw #21 trailing his WR.
Just curious. Did I miss something or did Davis have a poor game?
Also, I am already missing Crowder. I know Burnett is better. But, this defense NEVER looked as lost and unorganized when Crowder was in the game. Crowder was responsible for the aligments, shifts changes etc.... This defense looked completely lost
Props to Henne. Being a Henne basher I have to tip my hat to him. 1 negative is that he still can't get it done in the red zone. He had some drops, but he missed a few opportunities.
However, what he showed is he can be as good as Orton. We can't put the team on his shoulders, but he atleast showed that he can help the team win rather then be a hindrance.
He played a great game, and if our defense showed up he did enough to win that game.
