Just wondering hoops, where did you have him ranked?

I know you stick to your draft board with great conviction, can you fault a GM who sticks to his? Especially as pre draft reports say Hickey had him ranked as a first round T. Plus he's gonna protect the franchise QB that you love.

For the record I would have probably drafted Dix or Cooks if I didn't trade down. My biggest gripe though is probably not trading up for Martin for the 3rd or 4th rounder it would have required.

Dude you could have traded to 27 got him and gained a 3rd...as soon as Martin and Mosley went off he should have been out...instead he took the need...this guys solid in pass pro although he oversets but wait til you see him down the field in the run game...he's lost..,and he makes it a pillow fight at right tackle as a run blocker...I could understand pick 50 but to not trade out there to 27 and still get him...I mean really wtf...his bpa talk was bs

Ireland never reached for cornfed in the first round. Ya, he kind of sucked at picking cornfed anyway, but at least he never reached for cornfed. The 2 cornfeds he selected in the 1st round were actually pretty good (Long/Pouncey).

Ireland sucked, but I always said the draft would show us what we have in Hickey. So far, its meh.

You just lost all credibility to me after that post. If Manziel was so highly thought of he would've gone in the top 10 with all those QB needy teams.
 
Look at the teams had we traded out in front of us...none of em minus zona at 20 would have even considered tackle...multiple trades right after us...his puss ass ass got tight...I'm serious **** can this clown

How do you not trade down. Not a single OL taken since.

Hickey is looking foolish. Easy third and still get James at 27.
