Good one…for someone that is such a Tannehill backer, Hickey is putting the best possible pass pro together for him to succeed. Huge year for RT.

Funny. People said the same thing when Rodgers fell to 22nd and Green Bay traded back up into the 1st round to get him. Years later those same people act like they wanted us to take him at #2 and we were fools not to.

We drafted a guy we had as a 1st round grade at RT. You can nitpick but you said lets keep tannehill clean and we score points. You don't think James is good?

I agree with everything you said and I'm blown away. I have tomorrow off work and I'm going to watch him in some SEC games against strong players. So far I see solid pass pro, good feet but very little power or grit. We'll see....

Its mind boggling.

The teams drafting beyond 20 are good teams so of course they arent drafting cornfed. They are good teams because they are smart and dont use 1st round picks on corn.

People said the same thing about Quinn and Weeden who got picked by the same exact team at the same exact spot. Where are they now?

I like RT. I think he has done a good job and has progressed. However, this is a huge year for him going fwd. Getting better pass pro is a key to him making that step. Am I sold he IS the guy for the next ten years? No. However, he has shown signs to possibly be the guy. Give him a chance.

Tannehill's jersey was clean(well except for the boogers) in week 17 vs. the Jests. We scored 7 points.
 
If James is who Hickey wanted, I respect his judgment over the amateurs on here who are butt hurt and assuming he was a second or third rounder.
