Wallace sucks

So Tannehill can be criticized to no end but Wallace is absolved of all blame whatsoever...ahhh i get it. Wallace does nothing to help out his qb. Playmakers make plays when they matter. Why did he not catch the ball in the endzone? Oh yea, thats right he doesnt catch the ball with his hands.

So the fact that Wallace was excellent in Pittsburgh means nothing. Tannehill would **** up megatrons career if he played here, and you would sit here and say megatron sucks cause he doesn't catch Tanny's inaccurate passes. What the **** do you want the guy to do? He's not big, he's not physical. Play to his strengths, the deep ball, and of course the franchise can't make if happen because he sucks. Then everyone sits here and criticizes Wallace because he doesn't catch with his hands or he doesn't run a constant speed, its a joke. Anything to cover up Tannehill's extreme short comings.

Any competent NFL QB hits a few of those opportunities to Wallace.

We couldve dominated the Jests today with good QB play. We hit that pass to Wallace and we put the Jests in situations where they actually have to throw the ball. They still only scored 20 points despite our offense doing nothing to force their hand.

While I am not happy with Tannehill, had we put them in bad passing situations the secondary would have allowed completions for first downs and the dline once again was non existent. Tannehill shoulders the blame but the front 4 for Miami were inexplicably terrible these past 2 weeks. We are in the same position we were 2 years ago except we may have found a tight end. Big ****ing deal.

Wallace proved that he could play in Pittsburgh, but sure, lets blame the players who have proven they can play elsewhere who come in and disappoint rather than a coaching staff that seems to get worse play from every member of their squad who has played elsewhere.

i already said in a previous post that the coaching staff has contributed to the problem big time. They misused Reggie Bush as well. Players with that kind of speed need to be used to create mismatches and you need to get those kind of guys the ball in their hands in open space where they can use their speed. This staff has dropped the ball two years in a row with 2 different players who could be game changers.

i agree 1000% mike wallace is not worth his $30 million guaranteed but that does not excuse RT from being able to get him to do his one trick.

RT hasn't been great getting the ball to him, but he has dropped plenty that have hit him right on the hands. A few things you can bank on:

1. If the catch is contested, Wallace will not win the battle.

2. If the ball requires a hands catch and isn't in the chest, he will drop it.

3. If he needs to stretch or leap for the ball, he will not catch it.

4. If you need a downfield block, he will put the least amount of effort in as possible.

5. He only knows how to run one route.

6. His targets result in more third and longs than any other receiver on the team.

7. He will not come back to the QB. Ever.

Wallace is another example of Ireland picking a fantasy roster instead of knowing what fits the team. A waste of money.

lol megatron is a real receiver who makes plays...dont ever compare Wallace to Megatron. Its stupid and laughable. Wallace is a fast runner, Calvin Johnson is a legit #1 NFL Wide Receiver.

Someone who has all the games absolutely has to go and find every instance where Wallace beats the db and is wide open by 2-3 steps and how many completions are made IN STRIDE. I don't think there is 1 instance this year but know there were at least 6+ opportunities.

That's $10 million an opportunity. Not worth that kind of money.

So let me just get this straight? You guys are saying Tannehill should throw a perfect pass every time but Wallace cant dive to catch a ball to help out his qb? The logic some of you guys have is just some ass backwards bs.

He doesnt catch with his hands, he doesnt catch the ball at its highest point. In order for him to catch a pass Tannehill has to throw a near perfect pass and it has to hit wallace in the bread basket. He is not a good wide receiver. He is not a playmaker.

Wallace was the 4th best receiver on this team this year behind Hartline, Gibson and Clay. All 3 of those guys are better wide receivers than Wallace. All you fools are obsessed with and are fixated on the deep pass like its the only way Wallace is capable of scoring.

Its not but how often in a football game in the NFL do you get 1-2 chances for easy TDs? You have a player who creates that on a simple route at any time in the game, its like a cheat code, and it's missed. I don't mind you being mad or anything anyone, but to say wallace and the deep ball is like any other receiver is BS. NO WR IN THE NFL gets that open that easy that consistently, the play has to be made and your tune changes quickly.

I like tannehill and I know what wallace is. The point is this is the NFL and as good as defenses are and how tight games are... these throws cannot be missed. It will get better, but we needed it today and in other games this year.

He proved he could catch when there were 10 seconds for the QB to connect with him. Nobody buys more time than Ben. Our OL is incapable of such a feat. Comparing Wallace in Pitt vs Wallace in Miami is apples and oranges.

That one today...wallace could have dove and made a catch putting us on their side of the field...instead he just sticks one arm out. The guy NEEDS to help his qb out. Also anyone who considers him a "playmaker"...how come he didnt make that play? He dives he catches it and he makes a play. Playmakers make that play. Also the one in the endzone, if he tries to catch that ball with his hands we probably get a PI call and get the ball on the goalline.

This was Tannehill and Wallace's 1st year together. They're still trying to get a rhythm together, you can notice it on the throws. Tannehill has a cannon arm but he's tryin to hard to place it in the breadbasket thinking he's going to over throw it. I'll reserve my judgement on both of them together after yr 2 when they have a 2nd off season to work on the timing.
