Get off Wannstedt's back. Really. it isn't his fault Ricky got up and walked out last year.

Does he suck as an NFL head coach, sure ok. But to put every fault with this team on his lap for the past 10 years is a pure joke. It started with Shula, continued with JJ, ended with DW. Who knows, maybe it will go on longer with Saban, but bottom line is Wannstedt isn't "pure evil" like some here make him out to be.

He had his faults, no dobut, and he paid the price when he was fired. But give the guy a break on some level. The hate towards him is sick to watch. Get over it people! move on!
 
Wannstedt is showing that he's a class act. I'm sure his actual candid thoughts of Ricky aren't as nice.
 
guys, enough with the hatred.....

Although I thought he was a crappy coach and Miami really underachieved under his watch, Wanny deserved better last season. Everything that could have gone wrong, did go wrong in 2004. The guy may be a balloon head as a coach, but he's a class act and we should wish him well in Pittsburgh. So lay off the guy, we have Saban now....what's in the past should stay in the past.

Because the are immature, spiteful and vindictive. From what I've read he's a good guy. Just a mediocre coach. I don't understand why people insult him personally.
 
I guess the two week spring punting practice is over at Pitt. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He left b/c he was a pothead and had lost his desire to play, he is returning b/c he has to financially.
 
i truly believe ricky quitting had something to do with wanny as well, the were running him into the ground almost 1000 carries in 2 years that's crazy, especially after the bills game before he retired, they gave him the ball 15 straight times, he wasn't the same after that game, :evil:
