Want to watch the Dolphins preseason games online? This is the only way......

I just wanted to throw this out there as this may be another option. I remember reading and was able to find articles from last year stating that if you are unable to get DirecTV at your home (because of landlord, HOA, no line of sight, etc) you could pay $350 and that would allow you to have NFL Sunday Ticket-To Go which lets you watch all games LEGALLY on your computer.

I haven't been able to find that anywhere on their site but if you google you can find an article about it in the Washington Post (I think) and PFT among others. One message board post I read said that he called there and explained why he couldn't get directv at his residence and they gave him a link to a hidden page or whatever where he could sign up for just the NFL To-Go without having directv and without having to sign a service agreement. I'm sure someone knows more about this than me but I thought it could be an option for people who can't get Directv but would like to get access to all of the games legally :)

Here's the link to the washington post article: http://voices.washingtonpost.com/fasterforward/2010/09/directv_opens_nfl_sunday_ticke.html

If I had to do that, I could just hook my laptop up to my plasma and watch just like anyone else.

What baffles me is why they don't allow you just buy a single team. They could cut the price in half and I beat three times as many people would pay for that or could afford it at that price.

Oh I know. I like having all the games, but I can't possibly see every single one. It's a real crock of ****, the sunday ticket is, but I can't bring myself to not get it.

It is only $5 per week to buy this package. I was watching it a little last night and the quality is incredible. I look forward to watching the Dolphins tonight on Preseason Live in HD. I have a HDMI cable so I am going to hook up my laptop to my flat screen TV and watch the Dolphins game in HD. Is $5 a game really that much to conplain about? It costs $25 just to park at a Dolphins game. $20($5 a week) is nothing.

You want them to lower the price and just charge by team? That would be $0.31 a week for a grand total of $1.25 for the entire preseason. Is that really fair? The NFL would just say "Screw you, you don't need to see it" if people demanded that price.

EDIT: I now realize you were talking about Sunday Ticket

I honestly don't find anything wrong paying $5 a game to watch your favorite team in action. Sign me up.

I have the NFL Network channel so I pay zero to watch them play. I just don't get to watch them live although I should be able to watch one game live since the Panthers stadium is 28 miles from my house.

I admit. I am cheap. I pay for nothing that I don't have to.

You are right dude. No cop is going to knock on your door and arrest you.

Instead -- you could be randomly served with a lawsuit for a million bucks by a multi-billion dollar business, should the site that you are using get busted. But you seem really smart, and you knew that. I've seen a cease and desist letter to a bar in those circumstances, and it wasn't pretty. But you seem smart, and you probably know what those are, too.

Haha. Right. If anyone on this site gets a letter like that, I'll gladly represent you. (For half my fee. I'm not running a charity baby!)

(Yes I see the irony in this entire statement)

Now it's only 14.99. Thinking about it as long as I can start watching the game from the begining when ever I want.

Me too.

When's the replay?
