WAR OVER: Richie Incognito apologizes to Jonathan Martin, Stephen Ross, Ted Wells

didn't stephen ross ask the nfl to do their own investigation? if so, i would take that as the NFL won't have any punishment, as I don't think there is anything that is worth being punished, at that level. Just within the Dolphins. Even then, I don't think there's any more that can be done. As Turner did what he was supposed to do, when he knew about martin's depression.

The Dolphins shouldn't be punished, there is no reason why the franchise itself should be fined or have draft picks taken away. The top of the organization was cleared by the Ted Wells report.

However, we have all seen Goodell punish players for just being accused of things and I have seen some crazy things at the college level such as teams being punished for issues that are more school related than team.

It doesn't matter that he was a year away from anything. What matters is right now Incognito needs to be on his best behavior and right now he is acting more manic than ever.

We now know what Incognito brings to a locker room and not much good came from it.

Using your analogy, then Martin, who showed a propensity to harm himself and his accessible weapon, was another drug-addled perceived abuse or 2 from combusting into potentially tragic workplace violence. See how that works?

Exactly so although we may feel justified in the reasoning of why picks should not be forfeited, we can only await why Goodell comes to his own conclusions, which will more than likely slant to go a little overboard in an attempt to protect the NFL over the negative image of the whole event.

Incognito apologized to Dolphins owner Stephen Ross, whose organization he's caused major embarrassment and a ton of negative publicity.
And he apologized to Ted Wells, whose investigative report he attempted to discredit last week.
"I would like to also apologize to Mr. Ross and Mr. Wells. **** got cray cray #MYBAD"
He also said he's sticking with his agents, Athletes First, after Tweeting recently that they were fired.

This is about as sincere as a pickup line half an hour before last call.

Choads do not change their spots, so to speak. :lol: But I'm betting that Richie will fool another team and another fan base and they'll sign him and embrace him and be shocked when he does **** like this again. Which he will.

Hopefully we're all aware by now that "the truth will bury you" Richie is the real Richie and the conciliatory "I've changed" and "Jon Martin you are my brother" is the bull**** Richie, and not even skillful bull**** like the way Michael Jordan flings it.

He's probably got bipolar disorder and thinks that he's at his best when he's in his manic mode. He would be the very worst type of personality for J-Mart to spend excessive time with, let alone be designated his team leader, mentor, friend and brother.
Don't forget he had a whole track record of causing problems back in his college days, when kicked off the Nebraska team.
BTW - bipolar disorder can be treated with medication. All he has to do is take a tablet everyday.
 
What I want to know is what did he say after he tweeted the apology.......

I feel sorry for Richie in a way.....here he is at 30 yrs old and still hasn't grown up...is there anyone in his life that he listens too? Richie, put down the twitter and take responsibilities for your actions and prove to folks you learned from your many mistakes......with actions not words and stop talking to the media
