was drafting Ronnie a good Choice?

Doktor Ivel said:
was he the starter???? i think not....so there for hes a back-up.
and how could he be the BPA??? He didnt even start!!!!!! how many games did you see Ronnie Brown carry the ball the whole game, without another HB touching the ball????none
and how do you know how good of shape Ricky is in? All you say that hes 30lbs lighter.....bullshivicks!!!! he was a month after he retired, he has gained some weight. its easier to gain weight than to lose it.
Ricky Williams is in the best shape of his life, right now. Why? because he has had a year off one of the most painful sports, and has had more time to heal properly, than ANY RUNNINGBACK in the NFL.

No, Ronnie SHARED snaps with Caddy...go back and read the comments made by Tommy Tuberville. Those interviews about Brown and Caddy will confirm this statement. Besides, if I was the coach and had two backs the caliber of Brown and Caddy, I'd have done the same things that Tuberville did...split the snaps...setum' up with Caddy and knockum' down with Brown..You obviously don't know very much about the game of football, so I'll excuse this part of the ignorance of your comments.

As has been stated, he carried the rock the virtually his entire junior season after Caddy was injured. Again, I'll excuse this part of the ignorance of your comments.

And have you been in India smoking ganga with Ricky to determine that he is "in the best shape of his life" ??? Him putting the weight on is doable, but he won't be able to put the muscle mass on that quickly that he has lost, and will be susceptible to injury once the hitting starts, particularly if he tries to put the mass back too quickly. Again, I'll excuse this part of the ignorance of your comments.

When in the history of the game has a player taken a year off and come back 100% of where he was prior to leaving....I don't mean injury rehab either...at least with rehap, you work to maintain your body and muscle tone. It is not that easy for RW to come back. The main issue is that if he wants to come back and regain his old football self, he'll have to WORK very hard. And the question is how hard will he really work ?? Or will he get tired of the hard work again and let his children down again (oh yea, his team and teammates)too). Again, I'll excuse this part of the ignorance of your comments.

Doktor...go back to football 101, play the game, learn a little more, become just a tad more intelligent regarding the game, and then come back and make more posts. We'll all eagerly await your return...

why do you think hes studing medicne? he obviously had some healing problems, and wanted some time off. now hes had his vacation, and hes as fresh as once was. its time for him to go to work.....o so now its 40 lbs of muscel? got any proof of that?

i'm gonna laugh at alll ya when Ricky does good next season. then you will all be saying what i have been saying.

and y should his personal life off the field have anything to do how we judge him? Ray Lewis was convicted of murder, and i dont hear about that every day from fans.

Come on, man, you're making my age group look bad. He wasn't studying medicine. He was studying holistic medicine, which means he's been smoking pot and smelling incense for 12 months. And the proof of 40 pounds of muscle? Did he have 40 pounds of fat? You're completely ignoring that he has a suspension to serve and that he has to learn an entirely new offense. Maybe if he does what Zo is doing for the Heat, maybe I'll think about wanting him back. But he quit on you and me and every player in that locker room. When you're being paid $8 million to do a job, you don't quit on a whim.

has had more time to heal properly, than ANY RUNNINGBACK in the NFL.

I don't think I'd call smoking drugs "proper healing"
By the time the season begins.... Ricky will have not played Football in almost 2 years, he will hafta learn a new offense, and will serve a 4 game suspension.

Please.... to everyone who is rooting for Ricky to come back....... Ricky doesn't give a crap about our team, or even his playing time. I'm sure if he could return with any team he wanted... the phins would be his last choice. The guy is a ******* who embarassed the franchise even long after he up and quit. It's clear to him now that he only has one option to repay his debt. It's the only way a stoner like him can make that kinda money.
