Was Jordan

It's too early to tell.

It's easy to say he was a miss and that we needed oline help much more than a DE, but the reality is that the team was no where near ready to proceed in the playoffs anyway and

next year Jordan will be bigger, more experienced & 100% healthy and might still prove to be a stellar player.

Wake is not getting any younger, and did not make much of an impact in many games. Paired with Vernon on the other side they might be a great tandem

Year one he is a miss. Couldn't play the run so he only had limited play plus he could play Mr Glass's son in a sequel to unbreakable .
Year 2 who knows but that's the only way you can judge year one

Well he's a beacon of durability compared to Jamar Taylor. Talk about made of glass!!

Sad thing is, you could argue he had more impact plays than Wheeler and Ellerbe.

I vouched for the move by Ireland . . . so I feel it's still much too early to call him a bust. Some stubborness from the coaching staff not playing him more and also some durability issues that lingered throughout the season. He was a raw player coming out but the upside remains extremely high. He's going to be a fun watch going into camp next year.

if you go back and look at what people were saying in draft day threads. he busted hard year 1. has potential but looks more like a project than the #3 pick.

Barkevious Mingo selected 3 spots behind Jordan had 42 combined tackles compared to only 26 for Jordan, Also had 5 sacks compared to Jordan's 2 and had 4 passes defended compared to Jordan's 2. So Bark nearly doubled everything that Dion did and was selected behind Jordan and also had limited playing time.

he HAD more playing time then Jordan tho.

too early to tell but Jordan has made a couple of game changing plays not by sacks but by hitting the qb's arm like ryan and flacco's that went for ints.

For this year...a complete bust! He may become better in the future...but this draft, for this year, was pathetic!!!

Mingo made similar plays. Jordan also made plenty of game changing plays by not doing anything when he was on field or getting pushed around but everyone remembers a pressure.
Joplo Bartu did more than either player as an undrafted guy

They didn't really use him like they should have. Put him in there n let him learn on the job. So he makes mistakes, he's learning and gelling with the rest of his defense.
