Washington is going to have a qb problem...would it be reasonable to inquire

Surely you're smart enough to know it takes at least 5 seasons to acclimate to a new offense and stop making the exact same mistakes you did in prior years, many of which have nothing to do with the type of offense being run.

3 games isn't and never has been the litmus test. 35 games. Unless he makes some kind of miraculous turnaround, what you see is what you get, and it's pretty meh.

Good night folks!

I think it comes down to what you thought of his first two years. You're obviously not listening to the other side, understandably, because you've heard it a bunch of times before and don't agree. Personally I thought he showed promise the first two years with many factors working against him, so 3 games in a new system doesn't make me do a full double take. If you didn't like what you saw then you'll take this as expected and he is what he is. I'm not nearly as confident as I was initially going into the season, but I'm in the corner that no one actually knows yet and anyone who says they do isn't right. General consensus on the board was give him a 3rd year to evaluate him, and I think that should still ring true. Whether he works out or not I don't know, same as everyone else. Cause for concern, some reason for hope IMO.

Guys I wanted tannehill to come out firing as much as anyone.

But were one of the top teams in drops, clay isn't right, new system, we need to give him some slack.

Look at the giants and Eli, It looked like a disaster a few weeks ago, now it's coming together. I'm not giving up on tannehill yet. Our WRs need to step up too. Lazor is still learning the roster too, of we beat the raiders, which we better, We go into the bye week looking ok, amd get a lot of backup.

That's all we need.

I'm sorry... But your just not impatient enough.

We need instant gratification...we can't allow for any reasonable amount of time for adjustment .

Everything is supposed to be perfect right out of the gate...machine like....you know like Madden?

Good post....of course your right...mature and obviously logical.

We need more than a 3 game sampling of this new offense & line before we fold up and quit....give up on the season....fire everybody and start over.

Tannehill game has gone to crap even on Madden.

But, he does deserve ALL of year 3 to determine his future. Its on his shoulders.

It took a 10 year Vet, with two Super Bowl wins who has been groomed to play QB his whole life, several weeks to get his new offense down, but we can't allow Tannehill time to do the same?

He can have the time.

But during that time, he shouldn't regress in pocket presence and accuracy.... which he has.

And now we are back to the batted balls at hte line thing....

someone provide cut ups of tannys picks vs the saints and jets last year and we'll break them down vs cut ups of cousins from yesterday...guarantee it isn't close to the same thing mistake making wise...not that i think looking at cut ups of the old offense really provides any value relative to this new one but again the tape won't lie

I've seen Cousins going back to MSU. He was drafted in the right spot. Cousins was exposed the way Matt Flynn has been. Cousins may or may not be ok in short bursts as a backup. But that's what his ceiling is. He is just not a talented guy from an athletic standpoint.

cousins arms not bad when he steps into throws but that pick where he had a converging lineman and just winged it with his arm deep...yeah buddy you aren't jay cutler there boss...whoever told you you had a cannon lied

and that glassy look in his eyes i saw...yeah that's not gonna invoke confidence from teammates...
