Wasted pick Clarett cut

They said last night the kid did not practice hard, and always complained when he did not play! Welcome to the real world buddy!!! Maybe now he can get his head on straight and work at it! If not, welcome back to school or the work force!
 
im rather surprised he got cut. Really, i thought shanahan would hold onto him just because of his ego, and pride.

DENVER -- Unable to practice much or play at all during the preseason, Maurice Clarett will be released by the Denver Broncos later this week, his agent said Sunday.

Agent Steven Feldman said Clarett, the troubled running back who the Broncos surprisingly chose in the third round of this year's draft, will be released when the Broncos make their first round of cuts.

"They didn't contact me, per se," Feldman said in a telephone interview with the Associated Press. "The kid called me and let me know they're going to let him go."

Broncos spokesman Jim Saccomano said the team didn't plan to release anybody until Tuesday.

Normally I could care less about being right or wrong. But I LOVE being right on this one. And I'm gonna gloat about it. :D I really don't the Broncos or Clarett...or their fans. Total waste of a pick. And to all those Donkey fans who defended it.....HA!!

I wonder how much money he has had to borrow as he has no real income from training camp. Someone will pick him up but I doubt he will ever do much, he wil be another Mandarich, all hype and no results.

haha Its a good thing he tried to come out early..and then sue the NFL..and then choke during his workout...and then get hurt in training camp.
Makes me wonder how it would be different if he had stayed at Ohio another year.

Oh well, I guess the adage is true: Be careful what you wish for, you might just get it.
 
Broncos has got to be the laughing stock in the NFL right now.
