We are better Team than Buffalo now and going forward.

even banged up we are better than them. I have watch Buffalo games all year they are not as good as everyone thinks. Josh Allen is carrying this team on his last leg.
bills fans should be worried about how they use josh allen.. i hate injuries to anyone (especially now since i am recovering from a broken leg and it's the worst) but the way Allen runs on broken plays AND the designed runs, i'd be worried about losing him and if that happens they are a maybe a 5 win team

Why are you the way you are? Enough already. Let fans be fans. Your backhanded loser comments are getting annoying.

Go help an old lady cross the street.
Am I stopping anyone from being a fan? There is nothing backhanded about my comments. They are all pretty straight forward. You need to toughen up lil fella

We played Buffalo in 120 degree heat and in a blizzard. Both games came down to the final play. We are on the same level as them and I am no longer afraid to go to Buffalo in the playoffs. Tua’s injury cost us 3 games. We should be 11-3. We are capable of beating any team in a playoff game. Last night once again proved that we are a legit contender.

Capable? Sure, but it’s not fair to proclaim Tua’s injury cost us 3 games considering we just lost 3 games with Tua.

Other playoff teams have had backups come in and win games like 49ers, Cowboys, and the Ravens that are currently sitting pretty as the 5th seed playing AFC South.

I think we had a good chance to beat a couple of those teams with better QB play....especially that Jet game. However, there are no guarantees to your point

I think we win the Vikings game with Tua 100%. That game was in Miami and Thompson almost beat them, the distance between Tua and Skylar is huge. Man, do we need a better backup QB next year

I don’t know man. The NFL is not linear in terms of progression from year to year. Heck it isn’t even linear week to week.

I like Tua and his progression but to say he is on Allen’s Level is laughable. I would put him as the 4th best QB in the AFC though only behind Mahomes Allen Burrow probably right in line with Herbert.
I'll be honest...I don't watch a lot of non-dolphins games. But I was watching the Titans/Chargers game yesterday and was pretty shocked by how pedestrian Herbert looked after he looked like an all pro the week before against the Dolphins.

You want the Chiefs in Arrowhead, Bengals in Cincy, or Buffalo in Buffalo come playoffs? I'll take the Jills every single time. They choke every year, always fantasize about us being the team that crushes their dreams.

Miami is a scary team, we make it to the playoffs , no one is looking forward to playing us. If the defense gets Jones bk for the run our defense will be big time better. My instincts tell me we win the next 3 , enter the playoffs super hot all the way to Super Bowl vs eagles and win it all.
I love your optimism but sadly, I don't think Jones is coming back...

You are what your won-loss record says you are. Perhaps next year.

Hmm...Then why is it that the team that wins the most games in the regular season does not always win the SB?

Why is it that people always talk about better teams missing the playoffs to weaker teams?

Why is it that many times when a team with more wins plays a team with less wins, on some occasions, Vegas will still consider the team with less wins the superior team...Some times by a lot.

A team needs quite a few things to work, for them to win a game.

1. Health to key players:

Injuries is part of the game, every team will get them, but the major problem is who has the most Injuries to key players, but once those key players come back, the team with less wins becomes far more dangerous.

2. Coaching and players:

Coaching is key to being able to survive a season with set backs, you have a good one, you can find ways to get through the more critical moments in a season. Have the right players with the right mindset, they can beat a more talented team, and always be more dangerous, even if it took the team a bit to gel.

3. Weather:

Some teams luck out where they did not have to play in horrible weather, while other teams have a few games where it hurt them because of the weather.

4. Ref bad calls:

Some times the better teams don't win games because the refs made one or quite a few calls that were wrong, yet effected the game final score.

So, no, you are not always what your record says you are. Sorry

Thanks. I don’t watch enough of him to have an opinion that matters. 2 of my buddies that are dolphins fans are split. One thinks he’s a product of the talent around him and is scared the talent will plummet if they pay him that much. The other thinks he’s the second coming of Marino (not so much, but he thinks he’s a top 7 qb).

Anyone else have thoughts on Tua’s next contract? everyone agrees he’s worth 45m’ish per year?
Your friend is 100% correct when he said he is a product of the talent around him. The other friend of yours who thinks he is the second coming of Dan Marino is way off base. This is Tua's third season and he's playing well, but I don't see him as a franchise quarterback. There wouldn't be ongoing discussions if he was, and there will be ongoing discussions after the season as well if he doesn't play well. We don't hear any of this chatter when it comes to Burrow or Herbert. With less talent around him, he is a mediocre quarterback.

However, with talent around him, he is a very capable quarterback. Since he is on his rookie contract, we can get away with it for now. The problem is that when it's time for an extension and we pay him like a franchise quarterback, it will be hard to surround him with talent. To put it another way, he doesn't elevate the team, the team elevates him. In his Alabama days, he played on an offense that had at least 80% first-round or second-round draft picks, so he was always surrounded by the best players. Waddle, Williams, Ruggs, Jeudy, Harris, Leatherwood, and Willis were all selected in the first round.

The idea of signing him and letting him develop into the system is fine with me, as long as he isn't paid 40M per year.

We'll win the last 3 and end up 11-6. It's the way the season has gone win 3, lose 3, win 5, lose 3 now just need win out and see where that puts us in the play offs. We're more than capable of beating the Packers & Jets at home and going to the Pats and winning.

Agree. How often does one #1 seed make it to the Super Bowl? Further, I can't recall the last time both top seeds made it.

Last Yr, it was Cincy (#3 or 4) vs (Rams #5 or 6).

Beefalo & Philthadelpha will probably be the #1 seeds. I'd bet good money that one doesn't make it all the way.

Its the team that gets hot at the right time like Cincy last yr or Putzburgh. Early in Tomlin's tenure, they backed in to the #6 seed and then won 3 in row.
