We are blowing this rebuild...

Sometimes the best laid plans go up in smoke. If anyone who's butthurt here were to tell a Fins player or coach that they're ruining fans' hopefulness, you know what mostly impossible (except for @13marino13 ) sexual act they would suggest you perform.

These are players and coaches who have rare opportunities to prove themselves and their professional prospects going forward. Do they really want to tank so some fan in or out of Florida could feel more hopeful? Anyone who's upset with players playing to the best of their abilities and/or coaches doing a good job coaching them up really should take inventory of what is reality!

As far as missing out on the top 2 QBs, yeah that would suck but sometimes the metaphysical Universal Order of Things/ aka “karma” does take stock of the negative skewed scoreboards and surprisingly rewards those who suffered. Just ask Pittsburgh when Big Ben was the 3rd QB taken, SD when Brees was taken 33, Houston, when Watson was the 3rd QB chosen, GB who took Rodgers at #24. Then there’s Seattle and New England. Of course, when was Marino taken, 4th or 5th QB down? Who’s to say that Love or Fromm won’t develop into the best QB in the class.

Sure, FH is the proper venue to whine, piss and moan but really, if we’re gonna lament blowing the Tank Job, we should also at the same time recognize that we may have a helluva coaching staff for the first time in a long time and a few player gems going forward who we otherwise would not have looked twice at. So there’s that too!

Post of the season?

Yah got my vote.

Shades of the Suck for Luck year when Matt Moore screwed everything up. Oh well, at least now they planned for this by stockpiling high draft picks.

They are going to need to package those picks to move up to #2 at least for the QB. Not the ideal situation, but they can’t leave this draft without the QB, and I don’t want some leftover scrap QB with pick 5 or 6.

Our first and a first next year should be able to do it if they had to with the Redskins. With Williams on the trade block as well would be interesting.
Most likely our pick next year will be frialy enticing to prospects as well so if we keep our pick high this year it wouldn't be the end of the world for that kind of trade.

Just curious what the tank lovers are expecting to happen. They're professionals, they go out and play hard or other teams won't want them. Are you expecting int's thrown on purpose, DB's to run the other way when the receiver comes their way, coaches to kneel the ball on every play? In all seriousness what exactly are you bitching about? What in the HELL are you wanting them to do to please your tank desire?

Matt Moore screwed up what exactly? 7 years of a franchise QB and very likely 0 Super Bowl wins considering Luck **** his pants every time he saw the Patriots?

Might have at least had a playoff win in that span. Colts fans got an AFC championship game out of it. Better than the trash we’ve enjoyed as fans for 20 years now.

When Miami released a bunch of players at final cut down, I thought they were nuts, because the team looked competitive in pre season. Adding all those new players a week before opening day IMO, contributed to the abysmal start to the season. It now feels like the players and coaching staff have settled in. And the team has looked competitive once again. Coach Flores has really shown how player development and hiring the right assistant coaches can make a huge difference. I'm just glad they are proving what quality coaching can do for a team. I think they'll identify their QB one way or the other and keep rolling along. This is going to be fun to watch. Especially, once they get their guys in here.

You like watching losing football every year for 2 decades?

What does that have to do with this? If you don’t win the Super Bowl it’s all losing football. Maybe we could have gotten Mark Sanchez and played on 2 AFC title games?

Luck may have gotten us marginally closer but still to the exact same place. Needing a QB.

No, the NFL is entertainment. Who do you think was more entertained for the past 7 seasons? Colts fans or Dolphins fans?

Again if you say so! Let’s agree to disagree. I would not have been entertained much by going into Foxboro for a playoff game and getting crushed.
