We are out of the playoffs if Ravens win out

All we have to do is win both and we are in. If we lose a game we can only get in if the ravens lose to the pats AND cincy, OR the ravens lose one and the chargers win vs raiders AND chiefs, or cincy loses both remaining games.

Only way is if the Colts lose to Chiefs or Jags. The Patriots lose out and obviously we win out. Cincy has to lose to Minnesota and Baltimore has to beat New England but lose to Cincy.

We would BOTH BE IN.... the Ravens and Phins; and Cincy would be out.
 
We've got many threads on the first page about our playoff chances...

I just don't get these "look at me, I don't really understand this but here's what the deal is" threads.
 
Isn't the short version of this story that if we win out we are in? Either the Ravens or the Bengals are going to have to lose one and that's all we need.
 
If the refs are not involved Baltimore will loose easily to the Pats and very likely to the Bengals. I really root for that to happen. but it could be even sweeter to get in with the ravens and destroy them in the wildcard game.
 
Ray Lewis has no business being a broadcaster. Good football player, ya, but an absolute idiot that obviously talks out of his ass.

Maybe they are trying to learn and understand.
 
The confusion is stemming from the idea that the Ravens and Dolphins can't both be in the playoffs. It's been said, but if the Ravens win out, they'll win the division. If Miami and Baltimore wins out, Miami would hold the tie breaker over the Bengals, so the seeding would look something like:

1. DEN
2. NE
3. IND
4. BAL
5. KC
6. MIA

Obviously, the next two weeks will also impact spots 1-5.
