We can all stop worrying, Tony has corrected the problems.

i think ireland is more to blame than tony
if tony goes ireland should not be far behind

i dont want to us to miss out on a great coach because ireland still has say..
Before the season started,i actually had more faith in Ireland as our GM,than i did Sparano as our HC. Now,i don't have faith in either of them, and want them both gone!!!!!!!

You guys just hate to hate! The HC isn't responsible for how the defense plays! The HC isn't responsible for TEs gutting our D! The HC isn't responsible for the teams conditioning! The HC isn't responsible for the oline play! Get a Clue people!

Pretty much sums it up. BTW I am sure Bill on the pats is saying the exact same thing about their secondary. They just happen to have the best QB in the world and an offensive line that gives him all day to throw the ball.

The strongest part of our D let us down, I won't even blame the secondary that much. Our D line didn't do a very good job at all getting to Brady, I don't care who is back there give a quarterback 5 to 9 seconds a pass he will find someone open.

reason enough to try to throw major $$$$$ at them instead of them resigning with NE!!! hahaha

I'm gonna assume everything you just said here is sarcasm, because the way i see it,the HEAD COACH is responsible for every facet of HIS team...from HIS assistant coaches all the way down to HIS practice squad guys. Yeah it's also up to each&every individual player to make sure they're in shape and ready to play every week, and to do their jobs out there on that field. If they're not,it's up to Tonys' assistants to make sure those guys are ready to go out there and do their jobs, and if they don't,then it's up to Tony to get on to HIS assistants to make sure those men go out there ready to do their jobs. Either way it falls back on Tony to make sure HIS team is ready AND conditioned to go out there on that field to play, hence his title and job as HEAD COACH. So if i'm wrong on this, then please educate me because i want to learn.

Q. Was this a tough week to coach this football team
?

TS: No, it wasn’t tough. The guys handled it well. The good news is that it was a short week, not a long week. There wasn’t time to dwell. We have a bunch of pros in this locker room and they knew how to react. But like everything else in life you have to understand where the problems were and you have to know how to correct them. That’s what we did.

Tony, you understood we were attacked by TE's last year, yet this year you have not corrected it. And you have corrected all the issues from last week? Wow!
Awesome, so no more TE's spanking us again, thanx Tony, you're grrrrrrreat!

Cool story, bro.

Damnnnnnn right I was sarcastic! Problem here is everyone blames the OC, DC or insert random assistant. While for going on 4 years the real problem has been fist pumping us right in the face!

**** no Sparano is a clown and Ireland sucks at life too!

The problem is not fixed. It cannot have been fixed in four days. There are four components to the problem: Fundamentals, execution, scheming and conditioning. You can fix scheming in four days. You cannot fix bad fundamentals, inability to execute assignments in any given play, or get a team in shape in four days. Consequently, either Sparano is BS'ing or he has no clue what the components of the problem are.

Common, Tony is a great motivator. Can't you see how his players played for him with his job on the line last year, and how they came out with a bang this year?

ok. but if all this is clear. and its clear to you. its clear to me. why wasnt it clear to this front office and staff coming in? ok u put a db in for the tight ends and they are going to run the ball? have u seen their running back? a db can handle the running game in this case. taking a lineman or linebacker off the field isnt a disadvantage. why didnt they find another db with size that can handle one of those tight ends inside? and support the running game if needed? the speed of a db in that case would actually be an advantage against woodhead.

against new england, therefore, your base personal should be nickel. knowing this why didnt miami coming into this season make sure that their nickel package was their strongest personal grouping so they matched up to new england??? our nickel package is the weakest personal grouping we put on the field defensively. and that is unacceptable. especially considering the new offense. they plan on playing with a lead. the plan on putting up points - that makes nickel even more important. and teams are FINALLY starting to realize u win games in the passing game and NOT by running the back 60 times a game. u simply need to be able to run the ball to keep teams honest, and in short yardage u.

we KNEW this coming into this season. the fans knew it even. we know how good those tight ends are. and burnetts a great move. it solved half the problem (although they needed to get the communication thing in order). but the biggest part is the nickel back. and we are undermanned there.

That's the thing they don't exist. There isn't isn't one team that has a single nickle back who can match up with those tight ends and cover both facets of the defense, ie stop both stopping the run and pass defense, let alone a team having two of them.

The death spiral has begun.... when we get waxed tomorrow, MORRRANO and his merry band of idiots will get ripped by every major media outlet from sea to shining sea.

This team has 1 - 5 written all over it.... at that point the players quit on Sparano and we crash and burn.

the problem hasnt been corrected and it cant be by this head coach. because that performance wasnt really the problem it was simply the symptom of the problem. tony sparano is not a great head coach. plain and simple! thats the problem.

i just finished watching that special on bill belicheck. the guy gets it and its obvious. but its the simple things. bill and tom understood the magnitude of this game. he knew how much it meant to the patriots season. and he knew what it means to bury a team that can potentially compete for a playoff spot for u especially on the road against a divisional opponent. the truth is regardless of what any sunshine and rainbow, popsickles and lollypop fans around here want to believe IS we got punched in the mouth and our entire season is behind the 8 ball now. thats just a fact. i know its one game. but in reality its much bigger.

and our coaching staff did not have this team ready to beat the pats on monday night when the lights were on. yes clearly the offense wanted to come out and make a statement, and they did. but sparano should have been riding his defense EXTREMELY hard coming into this game. caress the offense. tell them how good they are etc. RIDE the defense. tell them they arent as good as they think they are. it was very clear by vontaes comments what the mindset of this defense was coming into this season.

im sorry, the headcoach is to blame for this. the second he saw that tweat (actually it should have been long before that tweat) but as soon as sparano got that info - it was insight. and he CLEARLY failed to capitalize on that coaching opportunity. he misses the important ****. the second that happened he should have been in that meeting room in front of the whole team showing video of dropped interceptions, missed tackles by these 2 corners. and saying how this defense is leaving plays on the field. he needed to use this. clearly he didnt. this defense thought too highly of themselves, and the roster decisions coming in left us unprepared to win this game.

the problem is poor coaching, and quite simply that cant be corrected. only the symptoms can be disguised. the problem isnt going away.

How do you know that didn't happen? i mean people think they know everything when they know just as much as any other fan which is jack ****.
