We have clarity!

That’s why this is our best shot. Also, Tua is the best qb we’ve had in 20 years and deserves to be paid. No way we get rid of him.
we'll never be a super bowl team with Tua tho if this is what we see in gotta win games. Miami will get to the playoffs maybe then be one and done

He cannot lead us without Tyreek on the field! He is good when everything is close to perfect. Do not make the mistake of committing huge money and killing our cap for years ro come. That was a game that Tua had to win and he didn't. Spare me the we were up crap he was handed turnovers deep in the Titans end so he didn't have to do much. This was a pathetic loss but hopefully it provides clarity on what we cannot do next year when it comes to paying Tua 45 or 50 million dollars!

Let us hold judgement, there are questions, but this one game. We have seen some good from Tua and some indicators that raise questions.

We have all been watching Tua locking on to Hill, perhaps this a growing pain.

I think makes these problems more obvious is Tua does not have great physical traits, thus he has to better everywhere else and when he is not better in those areas, he looks very questionable.

Why does he deserve to be paid ? Do you get top dollar for two December collapses?

Do you invest big money in a guy who requires timing and a quick release but can’t create off script or extend plays in a league littered with such talent?
You frequently offer some of the best summaries. That's Tua and the answer is yes. The reason it's yes is because we built the team that way and evolved that way. There's far greater uncertainty and risk in tearing things apart and starting over with a new guy, than in acknowledging Tua's limitations and forging non-stop manipulations to lessen their impact.

I would only tear things apart if we had a chance at Caleb Williams. With that type of talent recent form means less than nothing. You grin and take your chances.

I didn't join the recent euphoria because I fully remember Tua's rookie season and how he looked overmatched by the league in a standard offense. Everything tends to drift back to the beginning. I don't know how we avoid recurrences of that during pivotal playoff moments. I mentioned that here just last week, amidst all the euphoria.

IMO, Tua's body shape is all wrong. He looks like a short dumpy guy out there. Last offseason I agreed with djphinfan that Tua needed to lose weight and get back to how he looked early at Alabama. Injuries are random. Fatsos don't lessen injuries. Tua's fat midsection has done nothing for his arm strength. There is the occasional play in which he might be able to improvise a little bit if he didn't look like he feasted at a daily luau.

I wouldn't pay him either. The last thing I want is another 8 year tannehill situation...

Why do we not change our defensive front ever? 2 d tackles and 2 stand up edge rushers!!! No disguise!!!
I'm sick of that **** too. When it works it works but if it isn't, switch that **** up man. Fangio is ****ing stubborn in his old age. Sooooooo many things about his defense last night needed to be adjusted and not ****ing once did it happen. That is problematic

Again you know nothing about football if you did you would understand Fangios defensive scheme. Phillips out for the year and Ginkle already all over the field and now playing even more and special teamer as starter.
You must be an almighty knowledgeable football nostridamus the way your talking to folks.

Seems like all the team wants to do is dance in the end zone ?

This wasn’t a must win game. Tua is a top 5-7 qb in the league.
it might've been if miami loses to jets. 10 wins gets miami in the playoffs most likely cuz of miami having tie breaker on broncos. Miami doesn't have 10 wins yet, they lose to jets, there's a good chance miami goes 9-8. So next week is a must win because it's last winnable game before the brutal stretch

Oh so it didn't have anything to do with the defense letting them walk down the field like it was free....twice, with a 2 TD lead and the game in the bag?

Got it. Tua needs to do better on D, and calling the plays. He's the worst DB and OC on the team.

This team is too talented to lose 5 straight. I think ts more likely we win 3 out of the next four
