We need to deal Marshall for draft picks

Why, so we could spend it on a rookie WR who might be a bust anyway? I don't think draft picks are an issue at the moment. Believe it or not, there's a lot of talent on this team. The MENTALITY of the team needs to change. And I think that starts with your coaching staff. That's the main reason I advocate a Gruden or a Cowher to come in. I know the kind of players-coaches they are. Guys'll run through walls for them.

Never said there wasn't some risk involved but I would be perfectly fine if they got a 1st and a 2nd. Those picks could amount to nothing, but Marshall could also have a career ending injury or decide to retire on a whim. As I stated I don't want them to trade Marshall, but if someone is going to overpay then it's just bad business not to consider it.
Yeah, so could every other player in the NFL. Doesn't mean the Packers are just going to trade Aaron Rodgers because he has a chance of a getting a career ending injury or retiring prematurely.

It's bad business to not have talent on your football team, aka your product. More than likely you could spend both the first and second and wide receivers and neither one would provide half the production that Marshall does.

I don't disagree with trading when you have a talent surplus and replacements on the roster, but I don't believe in trading star players when they are the only ones close to that caliber at their position. And for the record, Marshall trade value will always be lower than his production because of his red flags.

We wont get alot for marshall right now so why do it, but Im sure he is going to become a cancer before season is over if we keep playing this way

Seeing as almost every ex-player, executive, & analyst thought that Chad Henne should have been replaced, I'd imagine it takes a lot of character not to become a cancer on this team.

ehhh...right now you'd probably get a 2nd rounder for him...only way i'd trade marshall is if he was part of a package to move up and acquire the pick necessary for andrew luck

and yeah marshalls had his issues with not coming down with the ball in the red zone but if you take him out of this offense there's not another red zone consistent win receiving option on this roster...hartline bess gates fasano are not those guys...not by a long shot

well its not like it would be the first time he has been a cancer, and the words Brandon marshall and character only intersect when the word bad comes into play

you're not getting 2 2nd rounders for marshall anymore...not when whoever takes him on in trade takes on the highest paid wr in football contract...and with his spouse issues to the point where he should wear taped on phone books around his midsection to keep from getting shived every time he leaves the training facility and the fact that everywhere he goes he seems to rub people the wrong way you'd probably be lucky to get a single 2nd rounder for him...he's still despite all the issues worth more to me in miami than a single 2nd rounder right now at least

Let me put it this way...if I were on the Dolphins offense right now, I'd probably be a cancer, and so would many of the posters here.

With the Giants and Titans both losing top WR talent and our season on the rocks, the FO needs to take advantage of this situation and build for the future (regardless of whether they are a part of it, or not). We should be able to get what we invested in Marshall (2 second rounders) and maybe more if a bidding war ensued.

A couple of news sources have said that Ireland's job may be safe, and if that's the case he needs to set himself up for success and deal some of our high-priced talent.

and get guys like Wes Welker who plays 125% every game and wants to catch a ball on every play!!!!

This team should have never traded for Marshall, especially since they did not have a qb that could get the ball to him. Marshall is a big tall receiver, never was fast but he did not need to be he just needs a OC and a QB that can get the ball to him. I say trade him because he is useless with what Miami has on offense. Damn shame QB can't throw a simple fade pattern that is why the middle of the field on the goal line is never open for Miami. The opposing team does not have to worry about the touch pass to the corner.

Don't you remember? Not having a WR was the only reason why our QB stunk. And when acquiring that receiver still didn't make him better, it was the OC's fault! Now it's simply Sparano's fault.

Getting rid of receivers just because the QB is not up to snuff is foolish because when you do change QB's, you need the next QB to have the most chance for success as possible.

yeah lets do that because we all know how easy it was for us to find a good WR this past couple of years.... so our new qb will have a amazing core of Hartline and Gates on the outside and bess on the slot.

are you guys watching the games at all? haden didn't shut anyone out they were moving the safety over to cover marshall we sent marshall deep and always threw underneath on his side which is how we got the completions to bess.

Marshall is elite talent with a good qb he could easily get over 10 td's

You aren't going to get two 2nds for this guy...he hasn't produced even what some 2nd rounders have. We got taken...
