4.47 in the 40-yard dash … 2.56 20-yard dash … 1.57 10-yard dash … 4.15 20-yard shuttle … 39.5-inch vertical jump … 10'0" broad jump … Bench presses 225 pounds 10 times … 29 1/8-inch arm length … 9 1/4-inch hands … Right-handed.

ANALYSIS
Positives: Can read and diagnose plays with awareness … Has the catchup speed, hip flexibility and ease of motion to stay with the speedy vertical receivers … Shows a good feel for playing the zone, keeping relationship with his assignment and breaking on the ball with anticipation … Will compete for the ball in traffic … Comes up to the line with force to lend run support.

Negatives: Has trouble staying stride for stride with elusive runners … Lets the ball absorb into his body rather than extend his hands for it … Gets too upright in his backpedal, forcing him to gather a bit before turning upfield … More comfortable playing the zone than working in one-on-one situations.

seems like Saban has not been overly impressed with some of the pickups at CB like Edwards so trading Flemons for this guy is a low risk high reward kind of trade.

Also, his arm length is 29 1/8-inches. He also has 9 1/4-inch hands. In comparison, Travis Daniels has 31 ¼-inch arm length and 8 7/8-inch hands.

Somebody dig deep. Whats his link to Saban? He once serve him coffee at a Dunkin Donuts? I wonder why seattle gave up on him?

There is one thing I like about this trade. Kris Richard is versatile. Some guys on this board say he isn't a Saban-type player. I believe he is a Saban-type player because he played CB and S in the pros. Saban wants players who can play more than one position and Richard can. A guy like this will be valuable in providing good depth in the secondary. Saban loves defensive backs, and I think there is no way in (you know what) we would've traded for this guy if Saban didn't like him.

I heard we may be packaging Boston and a sixth to SD for Fletcher.:D

I like the fact that the guy has stuck around for 3 years, but he is on the last year of his deal, and is probably making 650,000 dollars, which is a lot for a ST corner.

move was made mainly to add depth... he played his college ball at USC so he has a good background. Seemed like we benefited the most out of it... added depth to our secondary and got a 3rd round overall for a 7th.

He seems to have great measurables. 4.47 40 and almost a 40 inch vertical. For a DB thats crucial.

Does anyone know if he played along side Will Poole in college??? Just an interesting thought....

That's not a lot??? The vet minimim is $750,000.

This might be trouble to Mario Edwards, since he hasn't been doing anything in TC. he could be our Dimeback CB and he also can be one of our main ST's guy. Good to see that Flemons will go somewhere where he could make the team.

Here's a link to a small Seahawks board to see what they had to say on the deal... http://mb25.scout.com/fseahawksinsiderfrm1.showMessage?topicID=14113.topic

What I take from it is that they have a few young guys that are stepping up in camp and would be cheaper than 650,000$ Apparently they are hurtin with the cap and need every little bit they can get.

One guy actually says were takin Seahawk rejects, I guess Donnie Jones and Heath Evans didnt go over to well there last year.
