The frustration was the strategy they had at 0-7. Alright, everyone here bitching about no we need to win, we need to win. Irsay told his team to TANK, he was talking Andrew Luck for a while, and now he has a chance to dominate his division for another 14 years with a new quarterback.

"Irsay told his team to tank"? No he didn't. Thats just stupid talk
 
Don't believe it if you don't want to - his firings say otherwise. Stupid talk is saying we have to win games when we're 0-7.
 
If Flynn turns out to be the next Matt Schaub or Aaron Rodgers everyone will praise the decision not to bomb the season. Wait and see. In one year you can pass judgment...not before Luck has even thrown a ball in the nfl.

We should have tanked, plain and simple. The Colts did it and they had Peyton Manning returning the following year yet they still stayed on track to get Andrew Luck. Andrew Luck isn't proven yet, but he is still a far better prospect than Flynn, Moore or Tannehill - our only three options left.

Even Robert Griffin III is a far better prospect than either of those three.

Sparano has ****ed up our future big time with his desperate attempt to keep his job.

Thats stupid. What makes you think they tanked on purpose, truth is if you dont try you dont get better, you cant just take a season off then expect to turn it back on next year and make the playoffs. Truth is the colts have very little going for them other than the #1 pick. I see us doing better with Flynn and what we have in place then the colts do for the next couple years.

Thats not saying much. The colts will probably go 3-13, while we will go 5-11. Big damn deal.

So you honestly believe that Irsay told his team to lose and in return he would thank them by firing them at the end of the season? Thats so beyond ignorant. He didn't tell his coaches, GM or any of his players to "tank". If he had and then he got rid of the coaches and GM we would have heard about it. And players talk. You don't think some of these supposed players that were told to tank the season and then were cut wouldn't share that? Players wouldn't sign there. So beyond stupid to even suggest. The Colts lost because the Colts suck

Really...so with ALL the HUGE amounts of talent in Indy they are only going to go 3-13 if Peyton goes to Tennessee...please for the love of god, pass me whatever drugs you are on...this is why I hate this board so much...too many people are always doom and gloom...so I guess starting now we should beg and pray to Tebow that we go 0-16 so we can draft Matt Barkley huh? Luck is an UNPROVEN qb going to a HORRIBLE team...Even Manning went 3-13 his first season in Indy....and that team had future HOFer Marshall Faulk...now all Luck is going to have is Reggie Wayne...No Garcone...No Gonzalez, no Dallas Clark...

Don't bother brother. Most understand this to be the truth and you're not going to convince the few who don't. Best to smile, nod and move on.
 
boy if the nfl ever found out any team "tanked",you think the phins get bad press now,pointshaving could lead to a much, much worse situation than anyone could imagine.
 
I am the only one sick of fricking Andrew Luck the best QB of all time who hasn't thrown one pass in the NFL yet ?
The odds of him becoming the next Peyton Manning or Ryan Leaf are about the same.NO ONE could possibly live up to that hype. PERIOD

You're probably right but I think some of the nonsense i've been reading lately has gotten out of control. I think this site may need a timeout
 
The Colts dominating their division for 12 of the past 14 years.

And with Andrew Luck, they're staring at another 12 years of domination.

The Dolphins - the complete opposite, and still no legit prospect at quarterback so we still have no future.
