We should of drafted guard Elton Brown

I am not worried about our guards, I am worried about cornerbacks. If they haven`t drafted Daniels I would be even more worried. You can get a decent G relatively cheap in FA. But to get a decent CB in FA cost you a lot - like Howard.

Elton Brown in the 4th was a steal.I know we needed a cb cuz we lost pat but we could have picked up a cb in FA.Blunder.
I think Brown will be a huge steal, if his weight problem stays under control.

I was hoping Miami would draft Brown. I just hope now that Daniels will end up being a better steal. If Daniels is, then smart move. Guards can be made from less talented players.

There are reasons (stated above) why Daniels went right about where he should have and Brown went three rounds lower.
Weight concerns.

Well, not to be a downer on ya but Brown went in the same round. The 4th.

I think he meant Brown was a first day pick but fell to the 4th.

Don't worry, we drafted the right Brown... At any rate, how is it that you can tell that Daniels over E. Brown is a blunder when neither has played a down in the NFL yet ?? Have you personally been to Cards camp and to Fins camp and watched and compared the two ? Is there a link about how great E. Brown is doing at camp ?? I just don't get it...let us in on your secret knowledge ??

Brown was projected to go much higher than Daniels by virtually every draft prognosticator. That's what we all see for the most part, so we start thinking it is draft gospel.
Trouble is, as much as they all think they know, none of them has a crystal ball into what all the NFL teams are doing as for ranking the players before the draft. Apparently no NFL team rated Brown as high as the amateurs did.
Because both Daniels and his LSU CB partner had better junior seasons than senior seasons, they both fell much lower than would have been expected last September or so. Brown may have been a good pick in the 4th, BUT so was Daniels and we can't draft everybody. To say at this point, we should have drafted Brown rather than Daniels is ridiculous.
