Brown was projected to go much higher than Daniels by virtually every draft prognosticator. That's what we all see for the most part, so we start thinking it is draft gospel.
Trouble is, as much as they all think they know, none of them has a crystal ball into what all the NFL teams are doing as for ranking the players before the draft. Apparently no NFL team rated Brown as high as the amateurs did.
Because both Daniels and his LSU CB partner had better junior seasons than senior seasons, they both fell much lower than would have been expected last September or so. Brown may have been a good pick in the 4th, BUT so was Daniels and we can't draft everybody. To say at this point, we should have drafted Brown rather than Daniels is ridiculous.
