Jesus you homers sound like you just won the Superbowl. He provides depth at a spot that we are sorely lacking in depth. He's a stop gap until we can get some more young guys in there.

I want to compete THIS year not wait until next season or the year after. I don't care if we sign stop gap players. Lance is a great signing. We're lacking in depth just like you mentioned.

Shulters has had some good years....looks like a Pro Bowl caliber year in 1999 and 2002...he also had a decent 2003 but not many pics.

1999----54 Tackles----6 interceptions----13 games played

2002----73 Tackles-----2 sacks-----6 interceptions-----16 games played

2003-----65 Tackles and one sack----0 interceptions (not good)

However with all this being said he still brings a veteran prescence into our line-up who should be able to hold his own

He just turned 30 in May----and yeah he obviously needs to stay healthy. My opinion...he will play well for us.
