with a garbage QB...I look at Indy right now and wonder what could've been...Oh well one day this organization might tank when its necessary (and not draft an LT number one overall)

That was the only time in my life I actually wanted to lose out. I wasn't really rooting for losses since I can't. But I knew each loss got us closer to Luck. Ugh, oh what could have been.

I wanted Luck as well, but we still could have drafted Wilson, Foles, or Cousins. All guys that are excelling and were drafted after Tannechez. Of all the talent at QB in 2012, leave it to this organization to draft the bust.

2011 was the most enjoyable Dolphins football I had in a long time. I'm not mad that they won a lot games with Moore towards the end, I'm mad at the way they managed to ruin the QB situation after that for the foreseeable future, giving Moore the third best shot to win a rigged QB competition he was clearly never supposed to win, and drafting a reach who was not supposed to be capable of starting week one but was handed a job after doing not even a fraction of what guys like Bortles and Bridgewater did this preseason and yet were forced to watch and learn a couple games.

To say cousins has exceled is an overstatement. He hasnt even played much to show anything. He has had some good games but last year he looked horrible. It just proves that people have a VERY short memory.
And tgere isnt ONE team in the nfl tgat thought foles or wilson would be a franchise type qb or they would have taken them with their first pick

It was obviously the right choice at the time. I couldnt believe there were people even arguing that tanking the season wouldnt be worth it... Maybe those same foolish people finally realize how dumb their arguments were, but I doubt it.

I dont like losing but it was an investment. Like with most businesses, you have to hurt and take some risk before you can enjoy success.

'But, but, but if you want them to tank, you're not a true fan'. LOL!!! I always laughed at that. It's not seeing the forest through the trees.

We will regret winning those meaningless games for a very long time. The Colts have been playoff contenders every year while Miami can't even get over .500.

Lets give Moore some props. He took the same players that Henne was using and reeled of 6 wins out of 9. We lead the league in plays over 20 yards.
For some reason, we draft a 5th round QB with the #7 pick and then we proceed to waste another 2 years.
Moore is still here and I would like to see him given a fair shot. He is being paid well. Let's see what he can do for the remainder of the season.
We need another franchise QB. Moore can make the games exciting and possibly make a playoff run while we are searching.
Tannehill is a fraud. Sherman was a poor evaluator and coach. We are still stuck with his mistake.

Matt Moore starting that year is the reason Luck isnt a Dolphin.

And you people want him to win us 7 more games?

HA.

Hind sight is 20/20....I was the one of about 3 people in the draft forum that wanted Cousins. And I also said that if Wilson was 6'2" he would have been the #2 rated QB behind Luck. However, I can just about guarantee that if Wilson didn't have that defense and that running game no one would be talking about him. Wilson was fortunate to be set up for success when he came in the league. Unlike Tannehill.

And as bad as we need linebackers and a RG if we're in position to take Amari Cooper I'd jump all over that pick.

We drafted Tannehill AND Jonathan Martin before Wilson, Foles, Cousins, and Alshon Jeffrey. To say this organization has a problem evaluating talent is an understatement, and it MUST start at the top. Ross may as well channel his inner Al Davis and throw on a black velour track suit, tortoiseshell sunglasses, and unzip the jacket down to his belly button so we can see his gold chains.

I remember watching Gruden's QB camp thingy before the draft and liking Cousins a lot, and thinking how nice a combo he and Jeffrey would be…would have been...
