Colts get 2 once in a generation QBs back to back. WTF
Hind sight is 20/20....I was the one of about 3 people in the draft forum that wanted Cousins. And I also said that if Wilson was 6'2" he would have been the #2 rated QB behind Luck. However, I can just about guarantee that if Wilson didn't have that defense and that running game no one would be talking about him. Wilson was fortunate to be set up for success when he came in the league. Unlike Tannehill.
And as bad as we need linebackers and a RG if we're in position to take Amari Cooper I'd jump all over that pick.
I still say it was not accidental or by a natural turn of events ...Peyton's head should have fell off by now (the way they described his injury) and where is Curtis Painter? Bagging groceries again? It was THE biggest scam of our football generation and there is no way Indy should have bagged him on the level.
Lets give Moore some props. He took the same players that Henne was using and reeled of 6 wins out of 9. We lead the league in plays over 20 yards.
For some reason, we draft a 5th round QB with the #7 pick and then we proceed to waste another 2 years.
Moore is still here and I would like to see him given a fair shot. He is being paid well. Let's see what he can do for the remainder of the season.
We need another franchise QB. Moore can make the games exciting and possibly make a playoff run while we are searching.
Tannehill is a fraud. Sherman was a poor evaluator and coach. We are still stuck with his mistake.
It happened right in front of your eyes and you still don't believe it...Houdini would be proud. It's easy to see that it would have been harder for a QB to go from a better organization to the Dolphins and have success, but after over 2 seasons of watching I can safely say that Tannehill wouldn't have been successful anywhere else. You can only do so much without pocket presence and without ability to attack the whole field, and other organizations would have come to the same conclusion and had the same lack of success with him over the long haul. He's good enough to just not quite be good enough. He's a backup.

You think the most visible athlete of our generation would just go silently and let the team whose success he built sideline him even if he was capable of playing? Yeah, I don't think so.
This is stupid. First off what "fans wanted" has nothing to do with what happened on the field. 2nd players and coaches had jobs on the line they weren't gonna tank for reasons they wouldn't benefit from. That Colts team was bad, way worse than us. Maybe if Ross like forced the coaching staff to start Pat Devlin when we were 0-7 would we have had a chance.

I'll never understand why fans were so adamant about winning meaningless games the second half of that season. I know it's rough to WANT to lose but there was a franchise QB waiting for whoever picked first. For everyone who didn't want to tank I wonder how they feel now? We're once again going to be searching for a franchise QB in the offseason which, oh btw, is not exactly easy to do.
I root for the team to win every game I watch because the next great thing can always turn into Ryan Tannehill. Sure, Luck hasn't, but I've seen numerous other guys who were supposed to be worth losing for end up being non-factors too.
