We were 0-7 neck and neck with Indy then we won some meaningless games and ended up

with a garbage QB...I look at Indy right now and wonder what could've been...Oh well one day this organization might tank when its necessary (and not draft an LT number one overall)

We would be 3-0 coming
Off a loss in the afc championship...
But don't tell that to hoops we have a "young tom Brady with legs"

I'll never understand why fans were so adamant about winning meaningless games the second half of that season. I know it's rough to WANT to lose but there was a franchise QB waiting for whoever picked first. For everyone who didn't want to tank I wonder how they feel now? We're once again going to be searching for a franchise QB in the offseason which, oh btw, is not exactly easy to do.

Yes we won because of the fans. I don't think folks realize how much it would take to truly tank. You have to convince guys to do something that doesn't benefit them one bit. You think Reggie Bush and Brandon Marshsll but in to tanking? Any idiot can see it would have been a great move but too unrealistic. Horrible backup QB play is the best chance you have. For the lice of Pete what the fans want makes no difference.

Only fans could sit there and tell professionals they should go out there and not compete. That's why they're fans and not professional athletes.

Agreed 100%. Also getting mad about this because we were 0-7. Thats not even ****in close to being 0-16, too much football left. Had we gotten to 0-13, 0-14 OK is have been excited but 0-7, get real.

Show me where I even mentioned the players? I said fans. Yes I realize the fans have very little to do with actually winning a football game. But again, not my point. It was a hotly debated topic not just on this forum but on south Florida radio too. Just because a fan wants the team to draft a player, sign a player, fire a coach etc doesn't mean that's what actually happens. I just found it curious that fans wouldn't want to sacrifice one season heading nowhere for a real QB.
