We will always leave points on the field with Tannehill....

This thread was about Tannehill...special teams were the worst unit today and imo, cost us the game. That still doesn't take away from the fact that we need a new QB. Your move?!

So where is your thread on how bad special teams was? Like I said you only post bashing Tannehill.

Whether I was underthrown or not is irrelevant because the ball went ight thru his hands...easily catchable.

It is not irrelevant when we're talking about Tannehill's issues with underthrowing and/or not leading receivers. It is an issue independent of whether Hartline catches the ball or not.

The only time Elle posts on this site is in Tannehill sucks threads or threads about the deep balls to wallace...where he bashes Tannehill. The guy really doesn't have a clue about what he's talking about most of the time.

Refute my original post if I don't know what I'm talking about?

The ball went right thru his hands, yes maybe it was thrown 1 inch too short...ball should've been caught either way, went RIGHT THROUGH HIS HANDS

You are right about he has squandered opportunities but what about all their opportunities on the dropped passes that the receivers have squandered? It goes both ways. If wallace keep his foot in last week and Sims catches that ball Tannehill has 4 touchdowns. Yea he's been innaccurate but the receivers aren't helping him out at all. Also I didn't see any receiver with 4 yards of separation today. Maybe once on one of the wallace comeback routes.

Tannehill should call Phillip Rivers and ask how to make plays. That guy knows how to sling the rock. His ability to make plays is awesome. They are spanking Seattle.

Rivers didn't look too good last week....

So what? We're not talking about Hartline in here. He is bad. I know that. This thread is about Tannehill. And I'm not saying that throw in particular was really bad or anything. I had said that despite being one of his better throws, it was still under-thrown. In other words, he was under-throwing a lot today. Even on most of his completions.

Id take Rivers over Tannehill anyday. Hell I'd trade Tannehill for Rivers jockstrap. Rivers has what Tannehill nevr will. The ability to anticipate his receivers tendencies and make a play. Oh and he can throw a ball to a runnngback or receiver deep and in the flat with the wideout, you know, staying on their feet and in stride.

Yet the chargers win about as often as we do...

so are you saying since the records are similar you would rather have Tannehill over Rivers? The dolphins week 1 performance should lend enough credence to the fact that you should put zero stock in week.1 of the NFL.

All I want is a qb that can be slightly above average at the entire route tree. Is that too much to ask? If Tannehill makes a few more on targrt throws today, the outcome is different. The throw to gibson at the 5-10 yard line comes to mind, flat pass to Miller that doesnt lead him near the endzone, one to wallace in the middle of the field that he had to come back on that was broken up and the pass fake screen back to Sims that was overthrown.

Every damn week it's the same thing and these sans the deep ball are suppossed to be the easy ones!

I'm not gonna act like Phillip Rivers is a mark of consistency or of winning big games in his career, but he is a QB who can make all the throws and is a genuine playmaker throwing the football. He's a genuine NFL QB whose arm ability doesn't limit his team. Tannehill has arm strength but not playmaking ability.

Absolutely. This is spot on.
