I spent a couple winters one year six hours north of Montreal. Val d’Or.

Snowed in August. Remember a morning so cold, it made me cry, then froze my eyes shut.

Took me a minute to get my glove off to melt the tear. Longest minute of my life.

True story, I used to travel south east to play hockey in Val d'Or, Noranda, Rouyn, and Kirkland Lake.
