It’s one game but you’re right, that space in between 1st and 2nd looked different from the line, and Tua and that space was my biggest worry this off-seasonI said this in another thread.
It isn't just that he was ABLE to. It's that he did it. We have not seen this as one of Tua's strengths, or our OL.
I think people underestimate how valuable this is.
Last year, we got clobbered when the D took away our first read. It would usually result in a sack, or Tua making a mistake. I think this was the greatest factor in our demise in the second half of the season.
In this game -- our o-line gave Tua time, and he clearly went through progressions without getting flustered.
