Week 1 Power Rankings

Good QBs tend to make their OLs look much better than they actual are.

There are cases that support both sides of that argument. It would be a debate of which tends to tip the scale moreso than the other.

How old is Brady 33 or 34? Let's see how he takes a hit from Starks, Odrick or Vernon. I say one owie and he's done.

No mention of Cam Wake? :chuckle:

The Jets are where they should be, and we should be 12-15 to start he season.
After we destroy the Patriots, they will probably move the Jets up to 11. :idk:

Brady is 37 and not slowing down. Hopefully he shows his age one of these years.

I thought top 5 for Miami would have been fair w/ us somewhere around #30.

Brady is already slowing down. Don't be fooled by the 450 5-yard pass attempts he throws every season. His deep ball has lost a lot of accuracy and his arm strength is noticeably weaker. The Patriots know it and they compensated with a short, quick passing game. Brady's ability probably won't fall off a table, it won't be that drastic and all of a sudden, but he is trending down.

At 42 years old? You can count the number of QBs who played at a successful rate at that age on two fingers in the league's history. I wouldn't bet on that.

times are different. I hope he retires after this season but barring a major injury I see him playing for a bunch more years.

It's not like the dude has a bionic arm. He has two years tops left in the league.

If we are wanting Brady to retire , we need to put pressure on him , make him unconsistant , when a QB Cant stand in the pocket and deliver passes , and gets hit more than not , its going to force him into retirement , he cant scramble , and when hes not able to stand in the pocket and make consistant passes thats when there time is coming to an end.

as it was mentioned earlier you are not going to see Tom Brady just drop off....Bellichek will continue to adapt his offense based on what Tom can and can't do. I think you're going to see the Patriots start taking qbs more often in the next few drafts looking for his replacement, but barring injury Tom Brady will 100% not retire in 2 years....

Not sure why power rankings in pro football are so important to some people. Does it matter if we are ranked 19, 21 or 26?
Rankings mean diddly squat.

At the end only the records matter.
