Pappoe's execution beyond the athletic traits

Pappoe’s physical foundation sets the stage for much of his production. However, Pappoe also has appealing traits that extend beyond his athletic profile.

1st Round Mock. Know this looks way different than most, but, in order of importance: no skipping tiers, fit, need. I did skip tiers for Arizona, because I didn't want to give them a QB. Other than that, there is no tier skipping. Tiers: Top 5, Top 10, Top 20, Top 40.

Was not able to trade down this time.

51. Darnell Washington TE
84. Matt Bergeron OT

197. Keaton Mitchell RB
238. Yasir Abdullah LB

Not sure any of them reach those spots but I took them.

I do like this mock draft database site, nice to switch it up from pfn, since pff sucks now.

I think the trades are quite unrealistic but I’m absolutely in love with this draft:

TE of the future, who can block and catch. Check.

A new OT to develop, check

Totally rebuilding the RB room, maybe overkill but I had so many picks. Izzy and Hull. Fine for this year while having Mostert/Wilson

A DL who fell a little but should be solid into the rotation

Another young QB to groom. Has some more potential than Thompson probably.

Scott and Smith added to the db room, more depth, future players maybe

Luepke/Willis - for depth, / or H backs? Some insurance for Ingold. Could ps stash one or both

Looking at PFF draft

I'm more than willing to give up 2024 2nd round pick to push are 3rd round pick up to get TE Sam LaPorta - hoping it's pick 64 in 2024.
Just as important or even more so is the RB Jahmyr Gibbs at 51 using 6th or 7th round pick to guard against someone jumping us again.

Seems like we should be able to find a team rebuilding with an early with a pick in the 2nd that would like to make it happen.
Everyone knows it's a passing league, but we still need to get a better balance not the 37% run but closer to 50% change these passing blocking attempts to run blocking attempts and let our offensive lineman beat-up on the defense a bit.

Needless to say when we hired McDaniel he was a run game coordinator, so give him the tools to work with.
Draft like this continues to surround Tua with more tools and hopefully keeps him standing up the whole season.

LaPorta
Gibbs
late round pick and a bunch of UDFA

I mean I wouldnt want to trade up in this case, I'd take Kraft and call it good if I were dead set on it.. but with Campbell and Simpson available... hard to pass on them

But then a WR with our 3rd??? f*** no. PFF seems very unaware. I mean had we traded Wilson already it could make some sense... but no way
