Hall Of Famer
Why do you say obviously the coaches wanted that? When Coyle was asked after over half way through the season, he answered very honestly that Jordan probably wouldn't be getting a lot more playing time. Coyle strikes me as a rare exception in that he is actually very honest in answering his questions. Dion needs to put on 15 lbs and get a lot stronger. He was unfortunately behind the 8 ball right from the start because of the shoulder surgery and rehabilitation. However, that is all behind him and he comes across as a good team player who diligently wants to learn more. The emergence of Olivier Vernon meant that Coyle didn't have to rush Jordan's development. Hopefully, he is in good physical shape for the start of training camp.
The game that Wake got hurt they played him a lot and based on what they saw, they saw he wasn't ready to start the following week. Im tired of the excuses. Of course he said he wouldn't be getting more playing time because he wasn't ready to play more. I agree that the shoulder rehd limitd him in the offseason but he was fully healthy when the season began and wasn't good enough. maybe he gets stronger and does more but personally I think it was a horrible third overall pick
