I imagine the word delivered means it will be also be made public on Thursday. I am so ready to move past this. Hoping it's not bad, you really never know how these things will turn out even though all the stuff we heard doesn't appear to be as serious as was reported early on.

I think it will put some responsibility on everyone from the coaches to the players and perhaps the front office types. I don't expect a lot of discipline or punishment, just a call for cultural changes and maybe clearly defined protocols for a player having issues to use if someone should find themselves in a similar situation.

I also think the NFL will or should realize, that there is enough evidence of mutual participation in this situation that simply accepting Martin's explanation that he was locked in some type of "Stockholm Syndrome" and this was all some type of "go along to get along" action on his part just doesn't cut it.

I heard an interview with Mike Westhoff not too long ago and this subject came up. He indicated in most NFL organizations, they have some of the lower end coaches (strength coaches, asst coaches..etc.) that interact with the players in the locker room and keep the HC and the coordinators up to date on issues that might be occurring. He says they do this, as the locker room is viewed as a players area and the coaches try not to intrude or conduct business there so as to maintain the privacy that exists there. Westhoff said that some of the entry level coaches are typically considered "one of the guys" and have free run of the locker room. Westhoff claims this is how it was done under Shula in Miami and it was handled the same way with the Jets. It was an interesting interview.....

EDIT: Oh....and Martin is definitely a snake!

The report will say the work environment was poor for Martin and needs to improve, but because the Snake never told anyone the team and the league are absolved of wrong doing.

We will argue for days whether or not a locker room is a work place and can it be regulated.

I think it will focus on some coaches and suggest implementing new programs to combat hazing, social media etc. I see sensitivity training coming. My only fear is what the Commish will do, I wouldn't be surprised at all if we get penalized somehow, prob a draft pick or five with our luck.

As it stands, I can't stand hearing about it anymore, turn the page. After the SB, it will be regurgitated again cause its a slow news time, so buckle up.

Hayden - What if he didn't talk to Philbin and Sherman because the bigger issue was the drugs? Was the intimidation and the no snitching practice potentially part of the drug issue? J-Mart was on certain drugs and they fueled his weakness and emotional display in the cafeteria.

Well a locker room is part of the work place so of course it can lol might as well start the argument.

I don't think the drug allegations will just fall on death ears esp with Cognito implicating people in texts of drug use.
Either it way it doesn't paint a pretty picture of our very below average offensive line

"...Jim Turner, please report to Mr. Hickey's office... And, uh, bring a box..."

I am predicting the debate will go fwd of whether the locker room is the same as an office space in America. Also, why wouldn't the work place be the actual playing field?

I don't know. However, the repsonsibility of the one being picked on is to ask for the comments to stop and if it does not then report. That is in all basic work place law. Martin did none of that.

This to me will be like the new rules that get overlooked anyways.

Like no touching the receiver past five yards. When that came out I laughed. Yeah, no touching past five yards.

then it becomes, well, your allowed to feel the receiver. right, feel the receiver...as long as you dont redirect the receiver you can put your hand on their back....as long as you dont get caught by officials who can make up rules as they go......it was a "scrum" therefore not reviewable and play stops right there.

yeah, bullying....this is the NFL. Richard Sherman bullied the SF WR on national TV. With a woman standing right next to him. No problem whatsoever. Its just politics, like always.

I wonder if Goodell will also announce the Dolphins punishment on Thursday. Do you think we will lose a couple of draft picks or might be looking for a new head coach?

The workplace encompasses the locker room because its not some random place people meet its the team's locker room

If I was Turner and didn't have my boxes packed, I'd call myself an idiot.

I think Turner needs to be replaced because of how bad the line played last year. IMHO if was a good OL coach he would of been able to patch things together and put a better product on the field. He didn't thus should be let go or demoted.

However to fire him because of the Martin episode is something I wouldn't be so quick to do unless the evidence is completely damning. From everything I have seen to date the only person who really needs to be held accountable for what happened is Martin himself. If Turner told martin he needs to man up, toughen up, coached him hard, or even if he asked Cog to help toughen him up to me that's just something that most any other coach would of done.

If you're going to fire someone do it for the right reasons.
