The issue here is that Martin checked himself into a hospital, so there can be no REAL resolution to this just based
on the facts of what REALLY transpired.
Had he not checked himself into a hospital I fully expect that the NFL would have dropped the hammer on Martin.
And not the small one, the great big heavy one.
Basically Martin's case is that he had mental issues ALREADY and needed some kind of special treatment.
The laws are very particular once mental health & drug use are involved especially if treatment is sought after.
If it were up to me, I would say that he should have been red flagged prior to draft day. He should NOT BE CLEARED
for a return to the NFL.
He has mental health issues ALREADY, what will happen after he suffers a few concussions?

Lets keep in mind that Wells is a Friend of the Martin Family who not only went to the same college but also, as I understand it lobbied to be Executive Director of the National Football League Players Association. So there are two agendas right there. In Martins meetings with the NFLPA its not a coincidence that he refused to include the NFLPA. Because of this I'm expecting the worst but hoping for the best.
No matter what the report says, I believe the Dolphins will come out with a statement about how they are going to make positive changes in the organization and locker policies (or already have) and so on to try and prevent actions like this in the future. If anything is mentioned about Martin's participating or being wrong in any way, dont think it will matter becuse Rosses MO will be to take the high road and just try and take corrective action and hopefully move on.

Why wouldn't the work place be the gridiron as well? Why didn't Crabtree claim he was bullied by Sherman?
The next thing were going to hear is that a defensive lineman used bad language against an offensive lineman and said derogatory and infuriating stuff.
Was Martin every physically abused or was that just a rumor?

Fans will be sued too for heckling him.
He was abused every Sunday by opposing D-linemen.

Agreed. I don't think the phins will get off scot-free. But like spygate, bullygate will be brushed aside as its alot of speculation & hearsay. Martin has had chances to be specific and whiffed. Did his mommy not tell him that the burden of proof is on the plaintiff?
I don't think its as detrimental to the NFL's image as the Saints & bountygate. Ironically, Gregg Williams was hired as the Lambs DC this week.
