Ted Wells interviewing Jonathan Martin today in LA, as @jameswalkernfl reports. Wells will meet next week with Dolphins players a 2nd time.

Is there any other way, that Martin and the Well's investigation can try to derail a season? No need for this.

It is time to start to question Ted Wells.

If anything would have been found out the first round of interviews this would have been brought up now. He is fishing. At this point Wells should wait a month for the season to end. 53 MEN have playoffs to work towards.

Edit- people thought I was nuts when I posted the connection between Wells and Martina's dad at Harvard. Well....my point looks stronger.

I agree. Why can't this wait until early January? There is no urgency. Martin is not at risk. He is being paid. Incognito is the only one in a lurch.

It is time to start to question Ted Wells.

Why? For attempting to do a thorough investigation? He interviewed the players (many of whom only dragged it out more by being uncooperative, which is strange if there was nothing wrong), then interviewed the person making the allegations; and now he's going to interview some players more based on any new information received during the Martin interview. This is how these things work.

Jesus...

Hey Wells, you're not trying to uncover who shot JFK at the grassy knoll. If you didn't find anything the first time around, there probably isn't anything to uncover. Get on with this garbage.

There may be a side benefit to this. There is alot of he said/she (Martin) said here. Martin gave his story to Wells. Then Miami players no doubt contradicted it. So Wells is now presumably going to probe Martin with questions where the other Dolphin players contradicted Martin. Then the new info by Martin would then go back to the players to further refute. Long way of saying that Miami will get the last word to refute Martin. I'd rather Miami have the final word than let Martin have it. Then we will see what we are left with. My fear is losing a day two, or God forbid, a day one draft pick. We can't afford that.

Player A says sky is green
Player B says sky is blue
Player A also says Player B is a douche and hes afraid of him so he told player B he thought sky was blue also
Player C says player B is a good guy and player A is whiny
Player D says sky is blue-green
Player C says player D doesn't go outside so what does he know?

Investigator revisits player A to ask why thinks sky is green and if he needs contacts.

So. F'n. Tedious. This is why I thought the phins might just cut both and move on.

I have said from the start. He will create this looooong report that says the following:
* Martin was picked on.
* The locker room was not a proper work environment.
* However, it will be found Martin NEVER reported the harassment to his superiors so the team...and the NFL...have deniability to any claims Martin might have.

There is no chance Wells will come back and say Martin has no standing because Martin will sue everyone in sight. He is going to find some type of compromise that keeps the situation muddled.

WHY ?? Wells got his information the first time around , this is bull**** Wells said he did a FULL Investigation , AND now he is going back again ? IMO Miami was fully Cooperative with Wells , id be asking why he was back because he did a full investigation the FIRST TIME .

IMO the interviews could wait but Wells needs to get every bit of information he can that combats Big Momma and Rat Finks testimony for the lawsuit that she is planning to file. Remember he is working for the NFL and they in no way want to see something like locker room behavior brought to the public attention in the court of law. He is just crossing his T's and dotting his I's so that when he releases his report it totally corroborates what the Dolphins players say and not what Rat Fink is alleging.

Well it was announced weeks ago that he wanted to meet with Martin again so I don't understand some people being upset. Plus, having lawyers in my own family, I can say this is how things work.

But at the end of the day, I highly doubt anything bad comes out.

It works very conveniently during the week when Miami will be playing the Patriots....no, there's nothing shady going on.
